Had dinner here on a weekend night. Giving all the stars to the service because we had nothing good to say about the food. Too much salt and saltiness is inconsistent in a dish. Service is decent while environment is okay, could be too loud for conversations unless you don't mind yelling at each other. read more

We dined at Divina last evening. Since we don't drink we had a Virgin Paloma, made spot-on and hubby had an Athletic Brewing Run Wild Athletic Beer. Brewed in CT! For starters, we had the shrimp crostini and the Portuguese octopus. Wowser! That good! Dinner was homemade pappardelle with bolognese and sucking pig ravioli! Holy Moly, both were outstanding! We were too full for dessert, next time! If you haven't tried Divina..,..you simply must. We parked at Target for a buck. Valet parking is 14 bucks for two hours! Bravo. Divina! We came for brunch not at a busy time. The dining room/bar is lovely and airy but very noisy. The host was unfriendly and looked put upon when we asked for a different table- there were many empty tables. The service was slow but the servers were nice and attentive when there. The entrees were slow to arrive. I ordered eggs benedict and they weren't good- lukewarm, hard yolks, curdled hollandaise sauce, soggy English muffins. The hash browns were spicy, it didn't say that on the menu. I was brought French fries to substitute, they were good fries but not what I was looking forward to. My friend had a waffle with fruit she said was good but to me the shape looked too perfect to be fresh baked. It was a disappointing experience for both of us, we won't be returning. read more

I made reservations for 4 people and they sat us right away. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great vibe. The food on the menu was generally good, however, there were a few things about brunch that left much to be desired. 1. The restaurant didn't offer any pork alternatives (i.e. turkey or chicken sausage, or non-meat options). 2. The restaurant didn't offer any dairy alternatives (i.e. almond, oat milk, etc.) Strange that a place in 2021 would only offer whole milk and heavy cream. I was having a hard time finding a nice brunch spot locally so thought I'd check this place out since it had nice dinner reviews. It doesn't disappoint! My eggs benedict was cooked perfectly and the hollendaise was creamy with a hint of lemon zest. Delicious! The only thing that could improve is the service seemed a little frazzled. The place is beautiful inside and some food and drinks look look it too but that's about it. Staff had a good in attitude but wasn't coming as often as normally should be. The food while the pastas looked good where rather bland, a little salt could go a long way, and closed mussels and clams aren't acceptable, drink look good (Negroni) but the charred oranges made the whole drink bitter and couldn't finish. Small restaurant attached to the Marriott with a small bar and outdoor seating. Dishes were all very tasty! The King Oyster Mushroom was very flavorful and tender, Portuguese Octopus was also tender, the Black Fettuccine wasn't for me but good if you enjoy puttanesca although the large was a bit on the smaller size, and lastly the Salmon a la Plancha which was cooked just right. Five stars for the food and decor but NEGATIVE ONE STAR FOR SERVICE. Arrived at 12:30 for a brunch reservation on a Saturday during Restaurant Week. The grouchy old man at the greeter podium begrudgingly escorted us to our table. I inquired about a kids menu for the two children obviously in town with us to which he rudely blurted out "the menu is the menu." (Note: I've dined at Divina several times for parties and each time the waiters informed me that they could make chicken fingers, pizza or buttered pasta for children). I then asked to see the Restaurant Week menu which he just provided to the table next to us when he sat them. He grunted and then brought the menus over. We were the only non-White party in the restaurant at the time and I should hope this treatment had nothing to do with us being POC. Anyway, the food was great and beautifully presented. Our dessert took a full 30 MINUTES to come out but I understand that the waitstaff and kitchen are probably understaffed. Our waiter Joe(?) was polite but clearly overworked since he appeared to be waiting on ALL the tables in the front of the restaurant while tending the bar. read more

Came here for Mother's Day. The brunch was amazing. We ordered a few different things on the menu. We had the delicious Arancini to start - traditionally Sicilian, made with peas meat and cheese. For meals we had: steak and eggs, frittata and spinach feta pizza. All of our meals were delicious. Well seasoned, well cooked. For dessert we had the guava sorbet which was incredible. read more

Great option if you are gluten free and craving Italian.There were many surprising things on the menu that were gluten free, like the fried artichokes made with chickpea flour. The menu doesn't indicate GF beyond the pizza but when I asked the host he explained that they had both GF pizza and pasta and that many of the appetizers were also GF. Once seated he explained options in detail including a homemade ravioli not on the menu. Most pastas could also be made GF. We ordered many appetizers. All were excellent but I really enjoyed the fried artichoke. Pizza was good. Nice selection of wine. A few reviewers commented on the ambient noise. It can be difficult to hear the person beside you at times and our large party was in a separate private area, but it was loud. Another reviewer commented on saltiness. Food was saltier than I prefer, but I don't cook with salt at all so most restaurants are too salty for me. read more

We just went in for a drink and we were disappointed with the male bartender. Too much into himself and never engaged us or other patrons. Not the best choice in bartenders. We think Walter and Enzo are amazing and the food is great. Just think you should rethink your weekend bartender. Your restaurant deserves better representation than that. read more
