It was an extremely shocking experience as the dog came totally out of nothing and obviously tried to attack me. Luckily he didn't jump over the counter and they stopped him. The most bizarre about this event is the fact that they, instead of apologizing, asked me to move to the left so the dog could not see me. Be careful if you enter this store!

The fruit and vegetables are taken care of very well, no bruises on your peach. The bananas are on a display that has a "mattress" for them for God's sake. Awesome selection of non-dairy milks and healthy products too. The gluten-free section is not as well stocked as AH but they have great stuff, even fresh. They bought the whole area, c1000 and also the part where Rabobank used to be at the Brazillie Winkelcentrum, so the supermarket is huuuge! When it first opened I found some of the lines moved toooo slowly but they have a thing where the 4th in line doesn't pay, so make sure to ask for your rights as a consumer. Great quality food, great staff, and did I say it's super organised? Watch your back Albert Heijn!

Imagine a store that has better and healthier produce and goods than say Whole Wallet, er, sorry, Whole Foods, but has the pricing of Aldi. Stunning, that's what the availability of the food is here. And most of it comes from within the country. The Netherlands is one of the top food producing countries in the world, you read that right. Traveled by their massive greenhouses once on a high speed train and they're as far as you can see for what seemed like an hour. So yes, a LOT of them. This country has their collective shit together. And, you can get all that good produce, sustainably packaged most of the time, right at Albert Heijn. The locals just don't get it, and if you've lived here all your life, why would you? But there's more, the number of great tasting, healthy choices here, reasonably priced to my mind, have few equals in my travels. Food here is simply better tasting, fresher, hasn't traveled as far. What an impressive difference. How sad that I'm returning to the old subsidiary of Kroeger where I live. Ugh.

Zora is a secondhand consignment shop that sells secondhand and new items at a reasonable price. Pro- You are provided an account number, so you can properly track your items online that are sold in the shop. So much more transparent compared to other shops. It's more of a modern way to deal with clients. You can easily go online and check in to your account what was sold or not. Pro- You get to sell your clothes and accessories in an environmentally and friendly way because it's a wonderful way to balance fashion, consumption and sustainability. Since space is so limited in Holland, it's a smart way to create space for something new in your closet. Zora will hold your items, in the shop for two months to sell and if items are not sold you can pick them up or send them off to charity. Zora accepts men and women clothing and nice accessories. Management team is friendly. However, keep in mind the shop owner will only accept items that are not damaged, in good quality, not outdated or tired looking, which makes the shopper experience much more positive. I would rank them as one of the top locations for consignment shops. It's easy to find -just take tram 14 or 19, near the Dapper market and OBA library.

The store is really nice. Very big, really really cool design, and lots and lots of clothe and shoes and accessories. The service was also really nice. For me the only down fall was that they didn't really have much of selection in small sizes. Keep in mind they don't accept pin cards. Only cash.
