OTC has a great vibe - located in the lower-level at 408 Main Street, you might miss this intimate…read morespeakeasy-style establishment of you're not ITK. Characterized by a vintner-curated menu of blended wines and cocktails, the dimly lit spot is warm and attractive. The interior is appointed with art work, shiplap and stone work. The communal tables add to the festive decore and allow for making new friends, especially on Christmas (during our visit). The owner, Steve, is a Sommelier by training and has mad skills. His space is welcoming and he's passionate about a great guest experience, often planning unique events like an oyster shucking master class, glass blowing workshops, candlemaking, and, of course, private wine tastings. Flanked by his Alaskan Husky and best friend, Bear, he'll spend time with patrons, make a solid drink recommendation and ensure a memorable visit.

They did NOT have a glass of wine available for less than $45 (+$20 cover). They have $30/glass on the menu but was out of stock according to the waitress. I also did not go to Sundance and am not here for that so his comment about being *out of my depth* is just dumb. I encourage you to look at the one star reviews of this place and see the owners' hostile, immature, and abrasive responses (others also note his blatant habit of lying). Stephen, book a therapy appointment. Original review below *********** There is a $20 cover charge to enter, and they were out of all of the cheapest ($30/glass) glasses of wine, so we were forced to get the next cheapest, a $45 glass of wine. Are you willing to spend $65 for a cheap glass of wine? They also only have five cocktails on the menu and you can't order anything else with liquor (I asked for a hot toddy cuz I'm freezing and they said no can do). The singer was good and the ambiance is nice; not very crowded. But overall, I would never pay $65/glass for mediocre wine unless I'm at an ultra luxury resort (which this is not).

I paid $56x2 for a middle school production of Elf. What?…read more I saw elf with my entire family over the holidays and it was horrible. For $10, maybe passable. But to charge trusting patrons for quality theater at an iconic theatre and then force them to watch a juvenile production of Elf was not fun to experience. The singing was bad. Only 2 actresses were standout. It was a tough watch. Many people in front of us left after intermission. A tough watch. A tough price. It has shaken my trust of local theatre and I'd be extremely weary of another Egyptian Theatre production before visiting again.

I purchased my ticket directly at the box office which I loved, but personally was bummed when it was still an electronic ticket that I had to deal with. Personally, I love paper tickets. The theatre is small, much smaller than I anticipated so really any seat was great. The acoustics were great and overall everyone there was just there to have a good time. Being tall, I made sure to sit on the end of the row. But I will say, I thought the seating to be more comfortable than I anticipated. I didn't drink, but got a soda which was $3. I didn't think that was awful given I was in a theatre AND I was in Park City. The only downside was the pre-show which began with them asking for money. I assume this is because most folks are locals and they are a non-profit. All wonderful things, but it felt super salesly and honestly, I didn't come for a sales pitch I just wanted to hear some great live music, which fortunately I did.

My experiences are pretty hit or miss (mostly miss), but my last attempt to see Galactic did not leave a good impression. Why are the clientele here always so hammered by the time the main act comes on? I had at least 4 drinks spilled on me with not even as much as a sorry. Also the girl in front of me was so drunk, I was expecting her to just fall over if it wasn't for her boyfriend. What is wrong with people in this club? Oh wait, maybe it was the fact that the opening band was a no show and they failed to mention that. Instead they want you to waste 2 hours trapped at their bar paying exorbitant prices since you can not leave once you enter. Trapped in hell. Speaking of hell...The venue itself seems hell bent on making you wait in line forever to get in. It is almost as if they do it to look cool. Surely they can speed up their archaic process. Also, don't bother trying to get up to Park City early to grab a ticket before dinner. They will not sell you a ticket without you immediately going inside. Then when you go back they will most likely be sold out and try to up-sell you a VIP ticket. Make sure to buy tickets way ahead of time. One last note, I can't shake the feeling of this place being a death trap if a fire broke out. Great White circa 2003 anyone?? It is packed to the gills and the exits seem like they would be hard to get to. Especially with all the drunk idiots you will have to climb over.

Could this be real? Can they really close off all of Main Street, and fill up block after block…read morewith long dining tables, and fill each table with friends and strangers? It seems like a huge task, but I promise it's real. With the quaint buildings of Park City Main standing guard over the narrow strip of asphalt, table after table is set up with immaculate attention to details and sometimes over-the-top decor for this once-a-year dining event. Even some catering companies get in on the action, and you have to see it to believe it. It's packed with very beautiful table settings and a veritable who's who in PC and SLC. The air is warm, the sun is setting, and the drinks and fancy food flows. Here's the low down: you need to book way in advance, as it always sells out. You can go to the main website, but look for a list of participating restaurants and caterers, as you'll have to select one and book with them directly. I was invited along as a guest, but I've watched this each year and seen that ticket prices now range from the mid $100s per plate, up to $250+ per plate, so it's not for the faint of heart. But you have to do it, at least once. It seems like it's almost competitive--each restaurant seems to try to outdo the others with live flowers, fancy table settings, and of course incredible food. My best advice is to think of it as a dining experience, rather than a meal. Baked into the architecture of putting on such an event, you're going to have trouble serving up a bunch of meals to people sitting outside; it's really tough kitchen choreography. However, you should expect to have great food. I absolutely adore Park City Main Street, and to see it dressed up like this is wonderful. I would love to come back in the right company for more Park City Main adventures. In fact, I'm headed up again tomorrow for a Saturday tradition that began last year on a Saturday in July. I would go for lunch, but I'm headed back to a restaurant I love and they're only open for dinner, so I'm taking myself out to dinner there again. It won't be a huge production like Savor the Summit, but I'd like to make both the small lunch/dinner, and the big Main Street bonanza a tradition.
