We had a contract with Distinguished Construction after our septic was put in. They were to come out every few months to check on things and maintain it. (Per Austin County you have to have a contract with a certified septic company.) For several years Distinguished Construction billed us and we paid for a yearly contract. It was the last two years that we started noticing things going wrong and had to contact them to come out and see what was wrong. Then we started receiving letters from the Tax office saying that there was not a contract showing in their records. After speaking with the owner (Distinguished Construction) on a couple of occasions. He told me not to worry about it, that he would make sure the paperwork would get to them. That did not happen, we received our final notice from Austin County that we owed two years of not having a contract. We had to call several time to finally receive any response from them. Then it was always an excuse and the blame game for no know showing up. Changed to a different company after they came out to fix the problem that was at happening. read more
