Absolutely love the digger-bins, especially disco (found some really great oddities) and even picked up a couple of new releases. Probably dropped about €100 while there - overpaid for subterraneans but was caught up in my moment. Bins organised by label which is great for those going straight for specifics but a few cheap bins to keep you guessing. Chatty chap behind the counter was pleasant since i was on my own but we exchanged some tips for the area which was greatly appreciated. Card machine works so leave your cash for later.

Overall selection is excellent (and I have been buying Jazz since 1990), both CD and vinyl. Customer service is impeccable. The app works fine. The only think to watch out for if you're in the UK is the VAT threshold, so don't get overexcited in a single go (I did...). Only one regret - I have not been to Barcelona in some years, so haven't the pleasure of browsing the shop. Something to look forward to, definitely.

This was the highlight of a recent trip to Barcelona, my first experience of the city and its record shopping options. Barcelona has many interesting shops but this was by far the best experience and I left a hundred euros+ poorer but richer for the music I found. I would say that their prices on the vintage vinyl are a bit on the high side in comparison to other European destinations - some quite ordinary US printings for €50 that you see fairly regularly at €20-30 elsewhere for example which, in an internet age, is a bit too high a mark-up for the benefit a physical shop provides over mail order. Not insubstantially, this was also the cleanest and best organised store in Barcelona - the others could do with a dusting, to put it mildly.
