Vera is one of the better places in Groningen. They have various events and live concerts of all…read moremusic genres. it's also a good place to party. make sure to check the event calendar first. you pay one euro entrance and you can get in for free all month ( if you don't lose the card). if you want to escape the typical dutch greaseball haircut with popped collars you this is the place for you. there is one huge party area with a stage for DJs or bands and a basement bar. The people are more alternative than in your typical bar in groningen and the students tend to be from higher semesters.

In the morning you probably may try the breakfast buffet. It is also extraordinary. The bar is very trendy and you will find lots of people spending their time here. Lots of people in the twenties and in the middle age go there to meet friends or to relax while being in the pedestrian zone. The service is very friendly and professional. It is really worth going there and enjoy this place.
