First, it's best with all the windows open, which is why I say the weather has to be nice. With them closed, the place starts to feel small and busier than it really is; however, when the weather is nice and the windows are open, overlooking Bremen Hbf and the people going in and out, it is great.
The drinks lists is large, and the prices are pretty fair, even for mixed drinks. The mixed drinks are not poured particularly strong, but are fine. The service is friendly and fast, and the bartenders are usually willing to hang out and chat if it is not too busy. And since my German is not what it used to be, I will say that it's nice that they almost all speak very good English (and in some cases, fantastic, almost accent-free English). They are also willing to work with me on my German, so that's cool.
I like to go here after my last day of work when I am in town - when it is nice out, Friday is done, I am heading home the next morning, and just want to relax with a few drinks and friendly people. That is what Loft is best for.
