My garage door spring broke and I was calling around to see who could get to me the quickest due to…read moremy garage door not being about to open. I called Precision and they stated that they would waive the service fee of $76 once they replaced the springs. A gentleman comes to my home and has a list of items that he says need to be replaced before he could replace the damaged spring from $960 to $4200 to replace the entire door. It's like pulling into a car dealership and they tell you every possible thing that could go wrong with your vehicle and the fear of crashing if it fails. This company will try to upsell you on everything. I'm surprised that they didn't try to make me sell my house. I called another company and they came out within 3 hours and replaced both springs and didn't try to upsell. He informed me that I would want to think about replacing some items. Did exactly what I asked without an issue. Stay away from Precision if you can. There are plenty of good companies out. The manager said that there is no way that he's going to refund my money because I needed all of the items replaced. Run from them.

I had a chain break on my garage door, and Fowler Overhead Doors was at my house the same day! He gave me a couple of repair options, and I went with a new Chamberlain motor unit. He replaced the chain with a new belt, replaced the original steel rollers with nylon rollers, and the noise difference is amazing! Not only is Forrest a really nice guy, but he's a veteran...and I am proud to hire a veteran when I can. You will not go wrong with Fowler! Here is an update: Both garage door openers stopped working after a little over a month. Things happen, but he is still a nice guy and I think he does good work.
