I went shopping here recently with my Mother in Law, who is moving house, and she was on the lookout for a number of items, from a new bed to a three piece suite and new flooring also. I have to say, it was reasonable with regard to price, and there was lots of choice on offer as well as the place being very spacious - some of these furniture places cram in too many items in my opinion, making it difficult to be able to see the wood from the trees. But, not in this place, she got everything she needed, and a few things that she didn't too!

(Some of the ex-demos can vary from tattered settees at knockdown prices to discounted 'as new') Staff were friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and did not push accessories or after-care warranties as some of the tackier English-based sofa chains that have made inroads to the N.I. market. Delivery occured when promised, a great sofa for the price and feels very solid, should last a great many years!

I have been looking for a good, reasonably priced wardrobe for ages and finally found the perfect one in their recent sale, along with a chest of drawers. There are many genuinely pleasing items to choose from here, where apart from bedroom furniture there is a huge range of living room, dining room and conservatory furniture along with lamps and pictures. In the past I have also ordered a non standard sized mattress through Pinewick which was also reasonably priced and good quality. They also supply upholstery cushions made to measure. I have found Pinewick efficient, helpful and straightforward to deal with. Another bonus is that you won't need to deal with the dreaded self assembly furniture or be confronted with any awkward binding contracts that some big stores will issue.

But for my Yelping duties I called in last time I was up in Belfast. It is a kinda groovy, funky, cool, bespoke childrens furniture shop. You can get beds, cabinets, cupboards, wardrobes and everything like that. The prices are pretty ok from what I can tell and the staff were all lovely. If you don't wanna go to Ikea then this is probably the place for you.

They sell really cool and imaginative furniture for kids along with cute accessories like bunting for your bed. They offer loads of different ranges of bunk beds at good prices, good for families low on space. They seems to be a Danish company and I've never seen any other stores in Belfast. If your kids demands something a bit more individual than Ikea, this may be the place for you!

You can easily spend a few hours wondering through IKEA and have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The layout is spacious although don't deviate from the arrrows on the floor otherwise you'll be be scene from again. Ok, that is a slight exaggeration. Just bear in mind Tom Hanks in Castaway. The furniture does change and is extremely sturdy as well as having a sharp design element. The market downstairs I guarantee you'll be hard pushed to leave empty handed. Who knew anyone needed 300 mugs.

It's not very clear…read moreat all as to how you are supposed to make your purchase, unless you've been before & have picked up how it's done! I find the prices very high & the quality very poor! It's quite a stressful place to be & difficult to find and actually buy the item you wish to buy! Personally i wouldn't buy furniture here , as it looks really cheap but the prices are premium prices! The last & final time i visited, i bought several small items, such as cutlery & kitchen utensils (Should know better by now) & when i got home and checked same items on internet, found them at less than half the price! It's a tad confusing & rather poorly set out store , with very inadequate help to hand ! The swedish meatballs & mash in the restaurant are excellent though.

I've never bought anything from here personally but I can remember wondering around here as a kid in the cramped store full of items on display, whilst my mum haggled with the owner about a new bed or wardrobe. That's the best thing about these type of places. Haggling! The big chain stores don't use this old school skill and it takes a lot out of the store buying experience! My mum could always get a bargain with her skills and this place let her! They deliver all over Belfast and the extra charge is barely worth taking note of! All these little things help it stay afloat and take on the big dogs! I've just recently got a new apartment and I'll be visiting here soon.

It's very girlie with lots of flowers, cushions, pictures, candles, wallpapers and linens and its certainly worth a visit if you're looking for something a little different. The prices aren't actually too bad here as you'd expect them to be being an independent store, which is quite refreshing to be honest. The staff are great and don't sit watching you from behind the till, which normally makes me leave immediately. It's on par style wise perhaps with Avoca or maybe Laura Ashley? So if you're fan of these two, don't miss out this wee place! It's just Lovely!

The busy window displayed was crammed with all kind of dressers, side boards, rugs, ornate lights, candle holders with a heavy emphasis on the more 'traditional' side of things. Floral print featured heavily and there was a fair bit of gilding on a lot of the items. Inside the shop was bit less cluttered and it was quite cool to walk down through the myriad of furniture and accessories. I was only browsing and the staff left me to it without bothering me too much. There was a small selection of wallpapers near the back and some quite interesting looking tables which the assistant informed me were telephone seats. I wish I had a hallway big enough to put one in! A hidden gem if you're into more classic furniture that isn't wildly expensive and should last a lifetime. Pros: Big selection, quality furniture. Cons: Not much contemporary stuff.
