To be clear: I am not a State Farm policyholder and never have been. Despite this, the agency allowed a claim--filed by my husband under his own policy--to be incorrectly attributed to me and reported to LexisNexis. NexisLexis gets their information from State Farm. Being an additional insured does NOT make me the filer of the claim. I never purchased insurance with State Farm! They are outright dishonest and lied to my husband and I have since been removed from their policy with him. Regardless of the response to this review from James Raynor, I have already spoken to Nexis Lexis myself. That false reporting has resulted in substantially higher insurance quotes as my own policy renewal approaches. I contacted this office repeatedly to correct the mistake. Calls were not returned, follow-ups went unanswered, and responsibility was repeatedly deflected. When I finally dealt directly with Jayme Vazquez, I clearly explained the error and the financial consequences I was facing. I requested two very simple, reasonable actions: correction of the erroneous claim reporting, and a formal letter confirming that I did not file a claim with State Farm. Neither has been done to date. Instead, I was given a letter that did not address the error and was unusable for my insurance carrier. I was also told I would be removed from a policy as an additional insured after providing proof of my own insurance--but I still have not received confirmation that this was completed. The most troubling part is not just the original mistake--it's the refusal to fix it. Insurance reporting errors can have long-term financial consequences, and this agency showed no urgency or concern for the damage being caused. And to add insult to this, I am a veteran and this is how they treat the very people who served our country to provide the freedoms that they are enjoying while slowly destroying mine! Because this office failed to act, I was forced to escalate the issue and file a complaint with the State Insurance Commissioner and I have also reached out to the CEO Jon Farney via email and U.S. mail. If you value accuracy, responsiveness, and advocacy from your insurance agency, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. This insurance company is the worst I have dealt with in all my years of driving and I advise everyone to seek coverage someplace else because you WILL regret using them. Their other low reviews show they are consistent in being absolutely among the worst!! UPDATE - somehow, the report error with Nexis Lexis appears to have been magically fixed even though James Raynor stated there was nothing they could do. Liars!!! I repeat RUN from this company! Find someone reputable, honest and ethical to do business with!

I had a couple of options here, but I saw that this one had a higher rating, and I can see why. I dread phone calls; making them, answering them, any of that... but the person that I spoke to was really nice, super helpful and efficient, and made it as easy of a phone call as one can possibly be, which I appreciate! My rates went up, which I knew was going to happen, because this is a more populated area with more heavy traffic and more accidents in general. But I have the Drive Safe and Save app, which actually does save me a good chunk of change on my monthly bill. I explained that I need a paper copy of my insurance policy card in order to go switch over my drivers license, because I'm not sure if I can use the digital one, and she told me one would be printed out and sent to me, along with a new Drive Safe and Save Bluetooth beacon because mine isn't registering correctly anymore. I was very pleased with how she helped me go over my coverage to make sure I was happy with what I was paying for, and saving as much as possible. She was really super helpful and nice.

Can I sell my house with a roof that looks like a quilt? Thanks to State Farm agents, I'm overinsured and the insane hurricane deductible will ensure that State Farm doesn't pay out a single dime. I've overpaid State Farm for homeowner's insurance all of these years. Now I need a new roof. Where are you, State Farm? Bottom line, this company is greedy and doesn't care how long you've shoveled over your hard-earned money. When the day comes that you need them, State Farm IS NOT THERE.

Dawn is exceptional! She was patient, answered my 50 million questions, and ran me through all the scenarios to try to save me money. She made things make sense to me while not making me feel dumb for asking her about so many things. Her follow up was nearly instant when I emailed her with my follow up questions by email and by phone. Mind you...this is during the week between Christmas and New Year's when nobody really works...she's out there being my insurance hero!
