    10/27 I was referred to Carriage Hill by my local State Farm agent. I called Carriage Hill…read moreInsurance requesting a quote... left Voice Mail for Kyle 10/28 Kyle returned call. We discussed my insurance needs for a double wide I own. Kyle requests more info on the double wide. Same day I furnish Kyle with (emailed) info on doublewide as requested 11/5 I send email to Kyle "Awaiting that quote...My premium to Farm Bureau is due on 11/10"... 11/5 Reply email from Kyle that his main carrier is having system issues... "Hopefully we will have something concrete tomorrow" ... which would have been 11/6. 11/6 Nothing. 11/7 Nothing 11/10 Monday - Nothing, and my premium is due with Farm Bureau today. By 6PM nothing from Carriage Hill. I went online, renewed my insurance with Farm Bureau and paid it in full. Too bad too... Had these characters performed I would have let Carriage Hill look at my business insurance needs renewing next year. Certainly not now.

I first called and Ben told me to come in and add the full coverage back to the car ( because I had dropped it to liability during the restoration) so I did that, I went inside and talked to the lady and she was to put full coverage back on the car....well when I needed my insurance it wasnt there! Ben is so unprofessional I had to reach out to him he NEVER reached out to me! so thanks to carriage hill insurance I am screwed out of a fully restored 1978 VW beetle....I would NEVER tell anyone to use this place! I will now put it on every site I can and let everyone I meet know my story! I cant imagine how many people have gone thru this same thing. shame on them!!!

Having…read morepreviously used Erie Insurance while living in Arizona, I was pleased to return to them for coverage. Unfortunately, my first claim experience did not meet expectations. The customer service representative initially called my husband on a Wednesday morning but then sent an email to me regarding contacting me. I replied, requesting that she call me directly instead. She apologized for the confusion and assured me she would call the following morning--this exchange occurred around 4:30 p.m., and I was satisfied with that plan. However, I didn't receive a follow-up call until the following Monday. In the meantime, I was sent an email with four attachments, one of which was a claim form. When we finally spoke on Monday, the conversation quickly became tense. The documentation stated she had attempted to reach me but was unsuccessful, which I disputed. When I explained that I had no missed calls or voicemail from her number, she insisted the statement was accurate. I also inquired about the requirement to have the claim form notarized--something I had never encountered in previous claims. Throughout the call, I found it difficult to express my concerns, as she repeatedly interrupted me. This only added to my frustration and disappointment with the overall experience. Lastly, I did request to speak to a manager to express my concerns about how the call went and that I wasn't to get our relationship back to a good place. I was told she would let her manager know. I have finalized the claim and submitted all the requested documentation, but I'm still waiting to hear from a manager 5 days after the call. THis certainly isn't how I remember Erie insurance customer service, but maybe things are different here in TN. Sad.

    Mike Henry is both unprofessional, not focused on his client, and does not pay attention to detail…read more I was on my second renewal with his company and the rates skyrocketed even though I have exceptional insurance history with no accidents, tickets or claims on my auto insurance during my 40+ years of being insured. During emails, with Mike I had to email multiple times because he does not pay attention to all the details I questioned him that I wanted for my renewal. Fast forward a couple months into my renewal and I received a LETTER from him that my insurance was being cancelled without any explanation or even a phone call from him this was happening. When I asked why, he can't even explain an intelligent answer and would get back with me. Then he gets back to me and he still cannot understand why. Poor professionalism. I had to make a complaint to the TN Department of Insurance to get the reason why. It was a lengthy questionnaire that Mike sent out during my initial policy regarding if I had other vehicles. When I said NO because I had a motorcycle that was insured with Geico, that apparently is the reason why it was cancelled. Mike even knew I had a motorcycle and didn't pay attention to the detail. I don't even remember the lengthy application questionnaire other than making sure the coverages were correct. Other mistakes he made during the policy I saw he either corrected or he said were not important details.

She informed me that my policy was going to be cancelled in 48 hrs if I didn't answer some questions that Progressive wanted to ask me. The questions were regarding where my car was being parked (which was outside of my hotel room since I was in the process of moving). Progressive then cancelled my policy and state the reason for doing so was that I was a "travel risk". Derrick Wilkerson from Graham and Cook then informed me he would make some calls in the town of my current residences, fax them my information, and then get me a policy set in place. I then called him a few hours later and told him I was nervous about the time running out. He told me not to worry and that he would take care of it. I then called him the next day (Wednesday) but the office was closed. This left me with 4-5 hours to find a policy before mine ended.
