Dippin Dots is only something I get on vacation and I've been to this location many times. The employees are friendly and process orders quickly. Would not recommend if you have food allergies because there is LOTS of cross contamination. Those dots spread everywhere and could be potentially dangerous for someone with a nut allergy. read more

They have a ton of dessert options, so there should be flavors for anyone out there, and they will let you sample them. You do need to be careful about cross contamination - I've gotten dots from other flavors in mine before that definitely should not have been there. The parking lot gets crowded quickly, so I would recommend being careful about that. We've seen cars get blocked in and we've seen people park in nearby lots and walkover. read more

Scott for the win! We were in the area during my nephew's fall break and had just come from the arcade. My nephews wanted to go to the arcade and get ice cream after spending the day at the beach. I was on a mission to make the ice cream happen. Because it was off-season, many places were closed. Dipping Dots showed as open in the Yelp app, but we pulled up to find the doors locked. Scott was inside cleaning and came to the door to let us know the hours had changed and they were closed. They had just closed . I think the disappointment on my nephews' faces melted Scott's heart, and he let us in. The place is friendly and bright with some seats inside and benches outside. He was so friendly and patient as we made our selections. He even helped some in our group who wanted non-dairy options. With Scott's help, my nephews had a perfect day! And my one nephew, who is super picky about ice cream and prefers icees over anything else, finished his entire bowl of Dippin' Dots. This place is close to all the action in PCB. There are a few parking spots out front and some angled spots on the side of the building. It was easy to park when we got there, but by the time we left, there were cars waiting for a spot. Once inside, the line was short and they have ample space for the line to grow. They were good about sampling and we were able to try two flavors per person. This place has a large variety of flavors. We made it through the line, paid, and found a table to enjoy our treat. While sitting, we noticed this store has many more things to sell besides Dippin Dots. There were souvenirs, keychains, etc.. read more

Cute little shop with Dippin Dots (DD) Ice Cream and other knickknacks. You can find DD tiedye shirts for sale here as well as some really cool wind spinners and trendy stickers/decals for your car/phone. There's ample seating both inside the store and outside. They're open late and in a great location in relation to other attractions (wonderworks, ripley's Believe it or not, pirate Island, etc.). Employees were wearing masks/face shields and I personally witnessed them clean tables after customers left (once), however, there was only one person working and I don't see how they'll be able to keep that up when the line gets as long as it was tonight. Overall, great experience. The only thing that caused the 4 star rating was the price of the product. Wow. Talk about some crazy high prices. read more

Went here twice this trip and tried six different flavors (three each) in a large cup. I first tried the lemon lime, raspberry lemonade and blue raspberry lemonade. All those flavors were delicious and comparable to sorbet. The next visit I had mermaid mix, cherry razz and fruity cereal. They were ALL great. I love this dippin' dots location! The area doesn't have a lot of parking but it's right on front beach road and it's so convenient compared to the one in Pier Park. The ice cream is yummy and the service is fast and quick. There's so many flavors to choose from. I always get the medium ($5) and I get two different flavors split in half (no charge). I got the oreo cheesecake and strawberry cheesecake yogurt and it was delicious and flavorful. I think it's affordable because it's very satisfying and easy to share with another. read more

Better than regular ice cream, but expensive too. A small cup of dots will set you back $5 or $6 dollars. Dippin Dots is at one end of the touristy strip of highway we call Front Beach Road. Most of the time when I visit the crowd is almost entirely composed of out-of-state visitors, but it's worth a trip for locals as well, especially if you've never had dippin dots. read more

We love Dippin Dots and whenever we are on vacation we look for one and visit it throughout our week. That being said, we will NOT be returning to this particular store. Most of the staff were very rude and unprofessional. They didn't greet us or anyone else, but instead acted put out to serve. Some had in ear pods, danced and goofed off the whole time we were there and even laughed at customers. I'm writing this in hopes management sees it and makes some changes. We still love Dippin Dots, but will be visiting another location that hopefully takes more pride in their franchise read more

After dinner on Tuesday night, we decided to stop by Dippin Dots. The place was a little crowded, but that's expected and nothing that particularly bothered us. The employees were pretty quick. After waiting in line for no more than 5 minutes, it was our turn. We each (3 people) wanted to sample the cotton candy flavor, and when we asked to do so the guy told another employee and the man looked up at the first guy and said, "You gotta be kidding me." Ummm, what? It was a little hard not to laugh, because I couldn't believe that he'd actually said that out loud. I did not expect sampling ice cream to be a problem, but apparently, it was. I wanted to sample one other flavor (I was trying to decide between the two), but after that, I was a little afraid to ask. I honestly didn't even want to stay or even get my ice cream after that, but we did anyways. At least the ice cream was good! The cotton candy Dippin Dots itself = 4 stars. The service we got = 1 star. I just can't get past that comment. read more
