07/01/2023 went to celebrate a birthday with a party of 6 adults. Ambiance seemed to be nice yet the experience was not. We didn't have a long wait due to the place not being busy at that time and day. Yet we did have reservations ahead of time and arrived a little before 8pm. There website states that after 7pm there's no children under 12 years old. We got sat down near a family whom had 3 children under 12 years old.. whom were kicking and leaning on top of the other guest whom were in our party group. Along with more guest with minor children. Many problems occurred during the late dinner. The food was brought by the waiter whom brought a salad and camarones a la díabla where he spilled the sauce on top of the birthday girl as well as the other guest sitting next to her and there handbags. The plate was completely dirty and table with the sauce that later on he brown a rag for us to clean the mess. Not to mention he shook off the sauce out his hands splashing the person across from them. Steak knifes weren't brought before nor after the food was served until later by another waiter passing by and noticing. The space from were some of the other guest were sitting got shoved while employees passed back and forth. We ordered ahead of time before we even finished with our food a churro cart, the plates and spoons got placed and said it was ok it's way and they completely forgot to bring it we all waited for a very long time ... food presentation, drinks and experience we were all very unsatisfied!!!!! Would not recommend this place and don't agree with them stating this being an upscale and elevated restaurant. Not worth the prices on the anything on the menu. The parking was also pretty terrible even arriving way ahead of time. Presentation of the drinks and food was not elevated at all. This experience was awful. Our bill was over 1k. read more

I went to this Restrurant on a Saturday around 4:00 pm the place was not crowded , yet the service was bad, our plates came one by one every 5 minutes, we had to ask for water and some beer after waiting 20 !!! Too many girls walking around trying to sell some liquor to each table from the trays. The food was good but it was warm by the time they brought it to the table. Had dinner on a Saturday afternoon, was greeted before entering the restaurant. Was attended rapidly, my server (didn't get his name) was very polite. He made sure we were taken care of, there was a manger on site not sure what position she was exactly but also very polite checking in and offering us new specials. Not to mention the atmosphere was so beautiful, the owner poured their heart into this restaurant, the art is just beautiful. I fell in love with the aesthetic of this place, their food was amazing as well, they definitely are worth the price. I had a pollo al pastor asado and it was amazing, looked and tasted amazing. This place is all hype it's perfect place for those people who love to take pictures and post on the line... the food has a decent presentation but lacks that Mexican flavor. The service is fair. They have a dress code that they clearly don't enforce most folks dress to impress but there were many who looked like hobos so don't pay attention to their "dress code" Parking is horrible so show up early ( DIOSA add Valet Service) this place also plays loud and random music hard to have a conversation if they want to play loud music they should at least add a dance floor. I would like to start off by saying that my original review was on Open Table and I gave it a 5/5 (see attached). I visited the restaurant with family on Friday, March 31, 2023. We all agreed that the food, drinks, and service was great. However, a few days after our visit my father realized that there was an additional charge on his bank account from Diosa. We spent $92 at the bar for 4 drinks (we believe this is where the additional charge came from) and approximately $200 + on our food and drinks once we were seated. The additional charge was for $130.77. These types of accidents should not be happening at an upscale restaurant like this. It is inexcusable. My dad did reach out via email and is awaiting a response. I just want future visitors to be aware of this incase it happens to them. read more

I went last night for an anniversary dinner. The location is amazing as well as the decor. The chandelier above the table was elegant. However our server Josiah took 15 minutes to come say hello. When he did come, no recommendations on food or drinks. He hardly came to check on us and we relied on the food runner to give us extra silver ware and chips. On the bright side, food was amazing! Last night my husband and I enjoyed a fantastic meal at Downey's newest hot spot, Diosa, for the first time. The ambience at this restaurant is very chic, the black and white decor is stunning and the unique chandeliers hanging throughout the restaurant give you a sense that you are somewhere far away. While we waited to be seated, my husband was approached by a "Goddess," who was basically a lovely and extremely friendly young lady named Natasha, who serves up margaritas from a traveling cart. He ordered a Passion Fruit Margarita and Natasha was right when she said, nobody makes as great as she does! After being seated we were greeted by our personable server, Rogelio. He was simply the best and answered every question I had about the menu since it was our first time there. He was funny and constantly checked in with us. His recommendations were great! We had the steak arrecherra y the pollo al pastor with house made guacamole and chips. I highly recommend both these plates. My husband topped off his meal with Plata y plomo, a very smooth drink and I finished the evening with a delicious Midnight Martini. Overall the place was amazing, we loved the food. If I had only one thing that I could suggest improving it would be that the music was a bit too loud. It was difficult to converse with my husband and hear what we had to say. The music selection was fun and energetic and I liked it...but for a dining experience the volume seemed extremely over powering. It seemed like a night club. read more

After weeks of driving by this restaurant, we finally decided to give it a try and left feeling extremely satisfied. The service was probably the most friendly and attentive I've ever experienced and the food is really good as well. While the menu may be on the more pricier side, the portion size, taste, and quality of the food they serve are definitely worth the price. We came on a Saturday afternoon when it wasn't busy and were seated immediately. For our meal, we ordered the Guacamole, the Ribeye Parilla, and the Camarones a la Diabla. The Guacamole was fresh (with plenty of avocado chunks, which I enjoyed) and it was smoked, which added an interesting touch. The Camarones a la Diabla was amazing! When the menu says "jumbo shrimp," they really mean JUMBO shrimp. The sauce was rich and had a nice heat to it. It also came with toasted garlic bread to dip in the sauce, so what's not to love about that? The Ribeye Parilla was a little overcooked (we asked for medium rare but it was more medium), but it still tasted good. The manager (I think) stopped by to ask how everything was going, so we just let her know about the cook on the steak, but that we were fine eating it as is. To our surprise, the sous chef came to our table to apologize and offered us a free dessert! After looking at the dessert menu, we asked if it would be possible to get the Churros Foster for Two and were expecting them to say no since it was their most expensive dessert item. But, to our surprise again, they said yes! Despite having various sweet elements, the Churros Foster was actually not too sweet, making it the perfect end to our meal. All in all, we had an excellent meal and experience here and will definitely be coming back again! read more

Had a 7 ish reservation on a Thursday night was a little late for my reservation less than 10 minutes thee two hostess were nice said they'd have me seated in a few minutes.. they did. Didn't like where i was seated when i saw better seating near the bar looked around for one of the hostesses within 5 - 10 minutes a lady who seemed to be walking around making sure guests were ok came to me and asked if i was okay lol she quickly allowed me to change my seating to where ever i preferred.
