The restaurant was great however I was disappointed when I notice my beans were served on a broken bowl the edge completely chipped off. Then we mentioned to one of the waiters the tortillas were missing he brought us some in napkins, utensils are wrapped in that's why we didn't realize we got them. Super cute restaurant, food and drinks were amazing HOWEVER it had to be the worst service I have ever had. We were greeted by friendly hostesses who sat us right away. From then on it went downhill. Took 20 mins for someone to come around and take our drink and appetizer order. It was a female who took that order and she asked if it was a special occasion and we said yes we were here for my birthday. We waited and waited and then another male server came and asked us for our drink orders to which we replied that we had previously ordered our drinks. He took our order again and also asked if it was a special occasion and he told us that I would get a delicious ice cream for my birthday. He brought us our drinks and appetizers, then NEVER came back. We sat at our table at 6:30pm on a Wednesday so it wasn't particularly busy at all. At 7:30pm I asked an employee if they could get our server because no one came to take our dinner order. They said yes and yet again no one ever showed up. So at 7:45pm I got up and told the hostess that we have been sitting for over an hour and no one has taken our order. A little while later a THIRD server came to our table to apologize and said that he would be taking care of us. He got our order and brought our food. While this third server was better compared to the first two, he wasn't particularly attentive considering our experience so far. To end the night, we assumed they would possibly comp one drink or appetizer for the horrible service, however they did not. Nor did they ever bring out the birthday dessert. The ambiance is nice. The server was nice to give her a 10/10. However, some things need improvement from the managing side. Food takes a while to come out. If you have plans to go somewhere else after I wouldn't recommend eating here. It does take a while to receive food. I ordered the empanadas. They were a little saltier than expected. However, kitchen can improved on that. I also ordered the French toast. I loved it 10/10! The drinks were presentable, loved for Instagram. The only thing that I didn't like were the cups and plates dusty with a hair in it. I didn't say anything and requested a new plate. In my opinion it can be a hazard for germs to collect. I had really high hopes for this place however the hopes went down very very fast. We had a party of 6 celebrating a birthday. We ordered drinks and they took forever and a day to come out and my drink was the last to come out with an additional 20 minutes for a wait. Then we ordered shots waited another 25 minutes only for us to get 5 shots instead of 6 and waited another 15 minutes for ONE shot. And remember we were celebrating a birthday they didn't even bring my friend her birthday dessert after they asked what we're celebrating. Overall a two out of five. Before i go into details about my personal experience I just want to add in that I love the cute little sayings that describe each dish, each drink such a cute, classy touch! And to end it off with the corn chowder was delicious before we move onto the main courses And mind you this dish usually comes raw! But the slightly cooked version was even better it's a must try! Okay now on to the fun part the main courses. So my best friend had the surf and turf came out phenomenal! I ordered the Fettucine Del Mar i chose the seafood option over the chicken just a personal preference now let's get into details about this dish presentation was half ass! Lacked flavor was served room temperature he should of warmed it up more! For the price of $130!? I feel like this dish should've had black truffle's mushrooms on it.... Not sure if i would order this dish again! Now onto the fish we never received my fiancé order the Enchiladas Del Mar but the server brought us something else which led everyone to wait to eat together which was inconvenient for everyone because it's rude to eat in front of people who our hungry as well! Long story short my fiancé decided he was not hungry anymore and just had some of my pasta to hold him off they did try to offer the dish but everyone was done eating and ready to wrap things up! The server recommended we order the pasta first because it's time consuming, but my dish came out last in the end so I didn't understand what was the point of us putting in the order pre-had to re- serve late in room temperature! It is also I never received my bread that was allegedly supposed to come with a pasta. I think that the staff and the servers and the cooks in the lead.need a quick training on delivering each dish on a timely matter very disorganized! Now I don't mind paying a pretty penny for a good food. I came down from west L.A. to try this place the concepts, the restaurant Interior beautiful, but I feel like things need to be brushed up in order to keep it successful! In the end, our check came out to $400 that something you, Pam Beverly Hills right so that's what I expect to get when I come in and pay for these type of restaurant is excellent service good quality food and promptness is key. You will see on the check that we had to takeoff the enchiladas Del Mar and due to the fact our server mixed up dishes and brought up a different dish. Came here for a surprise birthday celebration yesterday and was pretty disappointed with the service. We had multiple waiters but they lacked communicating with each other so we had to place orders a couple of times. Only half of our group got their food order in and the other side of the table finally ordered about 20 minutes after. When the food finally came out, a few of the orders were wrong and we were made to feel like it was our fault. Look over your bill! We had food charged to us that we did not order or had cancelled because it took too long. My client/friend planned to link up weeks ago for a Friday night dinner and drink session, and I waited until the last minute to pick a restaurant for us to meet up. For some reason, Diosa popped into my head. I went online, made a reservation for 6:30 and let my girlfriend know. Diosa did not disappoint. The ambiance was FABULOUS! The vibe is grown and sexy, with black, white, and gold decor. When we were escorted to our table, the hostess asked where the Birthday girl (me) would be sitting, and presented me with a personalized menu. (SO SWEET!!! I almost shed a tear!) We settled in at our table and ordered our cocktails, I got a Tulum Tulum, and my friend ordered the Rich Bi#€h. They were both super pretty, and delicious! I'll post pics...For appetizer, we got the smoked guacamole, which was brought to the table literally smoking. It was DIVINE! For our entree's, we ordered the same thing, the pollo al pastor. It was so good! One of the managers, Priscilla even came over to our table to introduce herself and check on us. Thought we would give this restaurant a second chance to make things right from our first experience here. Food and service still horrible you're literally begging the staff to help you as if the food was for free. Nothing changed except for the wonderful guy they use to have at the door. He was always so polite, respectful and watchful to ensure that everyone walking in or leaving felt safe and comfortable. I asked one of the staff members and was told they got rid of him. For sure now we won't be coming back here. Can't get the service right or the food and now they get rid of the only person who made them look good. People wake up and go elsewhere. Lol I met my friend for a moms night out and we were excited to be there. We said next time, we will dress up more. We were seated right away, but the stools at the high table we were at seemed far away from the table. I kept having to get up to scoot my chair in. The server greeted us and was really friendly. He told us about some drinks and the way the menu was organized. We decided on some drinks and they brought them out. We took a little longer on the food and he recommended that we both decide what to share because the plates would come out at different times and portions were large enough to be shared. We decided on the chicken mole and enchiladas poblanas with a vegetable empanada appetizer. The food took unusually long to come out. When it finally did come out, it was lukewarm. My mole was super salty and tasted like Mole Doña Maria. Actually, Mole Doña Maria tastes better. The chicken was dry and also super salty. It left me really thirsty. My friend said that her enchiladas tasted like enmoladas and they weren't anything special. The drinks were very tasty but had too much ice. We ordered another round and asked for less ice. When they brought them, the waiter had a whole explanation about how they would taste different with the light ice.. And they added extra lollipops inside to make up for the missing ice. It was strange. Our bill was really high; too high for a restaurant that shares a parking lot with a CVS drugstore and a Chase bank. If you're going to pay this amount of money, you're better off going somewhere where the food is going to be as good as the decor and you're truly in an upscale neighborhood. For good Mexican food, go down Firestone about two blocks to La Barca. They have way better food and service. Sorry Diosa, you were more like Diabla. I came in this past Saturday for my birthday with 5 other guests. Our reservation was for 8:15 there was maybe a person or 2 waiting when we arrived but I did make it a pint to say I wanted a booth and or somewhere with a good view of the restaurant. They say us right in between the large party private room and the bar ... which means my pregnant sister and my two brother in laws were constantly bumped into as pp went to and from, we had no view of anything Where we could see no ambiance, not even 20 min a couple came in and sat at a large booth. I wouldve liked the option to wait and get what ibreally wanted a booth bc the eay our table was set up was as if it was a makeshift setting to accommodate us, when i made our reservation a month in advance Our waitier finally came out and was super nice but was always MIA. Gone for more that 25 mins at a time constantly leaving everyone with empty water glasses and our apps and drinks from the bar that we were so close to taking more than 45 min to receive. My guest were very patient but was starting to doubt me bc at this point we don't have a good seat, looking at only the back of the bars pps body's and the curtains to the closed room, and no food or drinks and have now ran out of water ...which I raved about how beautiful this place was and the presentation of it all. My husband had to request a pitcher of water from a bus boy just to keep us hydrated. My brother in law goes to the RR and there is a mess in the unoccupied stall as if some one was sick and no one from hospitality had cleanes up for a while. our food finally came out and when a few guest asked for sauces and or anything in addition. The wait staff never returned only to see our waiter at my last few bites and by then my food was cold. We spent upwards of $425 and all we could do was wonder if the experience had better would it have been worth it . It was my birthday which i told them several times, and they waited til i had already asked for the bill to bring me a birthday shot and DIDNT sing me happy birthday. This restaurant has absolutely horrendous service. I do not recommend going here, and I will not be coming back. We had a reservation at 8:45 and we weren't seated until at least 9:20. Around 9:00 we went back to the reception desk and asked the hostess how much longer it would be. She turned to one of the other hostesses who audibly said "10-15 minutes". The hostess then turned to us and said "about 5 minutes", so they blatantly lied to us. Once we were finally seated, it took them probably 15 minutes to come take our order, so we ordered our food and drinks all at once. The music in this place is louder than in a club. You cannot hear the person speaking directly next to you. Less than 10 minutes after ordering, my entree came out. Only mine. We hadn't even received our drinks. After about 30 minutes we stopped a random waiter, because ours had vanished into thin air, and asked about our drinks. He informed us that their bar was "severely backed up" and it might be a while. My boyfriend's entree then came out. Still no drinks, nor food for the other two members in our party. Our drinks finally came about 45 minutes after they ordered them. And the last two entrees about an hour after they were ordered. While eating, they randomly brought out a single taco. We told them we didn't order it and they said it "was fine" and left it with us, so we ate it. After ordering a second round of drinks, it took probably another 45 minutes, and two inquiries about them. The food was decent, but the drinks didn't taste like alcohol at all, despite the fact that they're $20 each. When we received our check, we saw that we had been charged for the taco we hadn't ordered, in addition to a random 3% surcharge. We told them we didn't order the taco and wanted it removed and they said we had eaten it so we'd have to pay for it. We inquired about the 3% surcharge, and without any explanation, they removed it. Seems like they were just trying to get money out of us. Do not come here if you want to speak to anybody else at your table or get served in a reasonable amount of time. read more
