Love what the new Dino's Pizza is doing at the UHill development in Durham! A brand new pizza joint serving thin, thin-crust NY pizza along with classic Italian-American dishes like chicken parm. Brought to you by Chefs Tom Cuomo and Matt Kelly, this restaurant is a refreshed version of a classic joint up north. 16" pizza pies with a really nice snappy crust are the lead items on the menu but don't overlook the large, smother parm platters. Prices are quite reasonable and they offer a range of affordable beers and wines. Large space but they are still working the kinks out after opening, be patient!

Casual Italian Perfection. Thin crust pizza 10/10, chicken parm 10/10, and the Caesar salad might have been the best I'd ever had 11/10. Family friendly - super nice staff. Patio with lawn to run around. Would also be a great place to catch a game with some beers with the fellas.

We went around 4 pm on a Sunday afternoon. This location is new so we expected it to be busy. Thankfully no wait even thought most tables were full. Our waiter was great and attentive to our table. I ordered the parmesan chicken with pasta. The parmesan chicken was amazing, but the pasta was undercooked and tough. The place is cute. Outside of the undercooked pasta, my main gripe was with the volume of the music. Multiple tables asked for it to be turned down. Initially nothing was done. Then it was briefly turned down for maybe 10 minutes and back super loud. It was a very overstimulating experience for us and very hard to talk to each other over dinner. I'm hoping to give it another chance.

We were excited to try a new family-style pizza place and Dino's did not disappoint. The fried mozzarella was awesome and the pizza was even better. Great service and a very upbeat vibe. Feels like a great game day location.

Tastes the calamari, two salads, two pastas, and two pizzas. Everyone at my table is in the service industry and was impressed. White mushroom pizza was my personal favorite. Yes, it's a bit noisy but it's a pizza place. Will be coming back.

Moved here 3 years ago and just haven't found good pizza until Dinos showed up. In contrast to the doughy and overly sweet pizzas that dominate Durham, Dinos has a great crust, homemade marinara and authentic toppings. Has about 8 standard pizzas but a great list of individual ingredients if you feel like building your own. Wings and fries are outstanding too. Haven't had a chance to sample them, but also have some basic Italian dishes on the menu like chicken parm - if their favorite their dishes are any indication these should be lights out and I can't wait to sample them. Also have some It has a nice bar area too, with plenty of sports on tvs. A smart beer list, good choice of cocktails, red and white wines...and I no idea why I love this, but prosecco too. Pizza and prosecco...Genius. I'd highlight the fried mozzarella appetizer; in contrast to the plain sticks mass produced by Sysco - Dinos is a homemade version, generous pieces with their own marinara. Really great and totally unique. Cannolis are excellent, too - don't bolt without ordering a dessert! Bit loud but it's a crowded, busy happy place. Staff has always been fun and accommodating. Yes, they are just opening so you'll get the odd hiccup in service here or there but the team is great about getting you sorted out. Great addition to the area!

    Cannolis to go!

All of the food is amazing. It's probably my favorite pizza in the Triangle. Great fun new spot.

I didn't mind the 15-minute wait but for $16-17...I was expecting a hot and fresh meal. Oh, was I wrong. I went with the 5-wings and fries combo. When I opened my box, there were barely any fries. It consisted of small, burnt, and broken pieces of fries. It was as if they gave me the left over fries from each previous batch. I've been eating fries all my life and know what fresh fries should taste like. This was definitely old fries. Now onto the chicken wings, if this is how wings taste in Buffalo, I'm going to save myself a trip and not visit. It was over cooked and dry. These are supposed to be hot wings and there were barely any sauce on it, more like naked wings to me. If you spend 15-minutes to make my food, do it right or just give me a refund. If you're not going to deliver it like your advertisements, let us know so we can take our money elsewhere. Thanks!

I do always get an extra sauce however because I'm a sauce person and it's good. The fried crab sticks are a unique touch although my favorite menu items would be the littos! I have since converted to a plant based diet and am pleased to say that the the jerk vegan litto is up to par with the others. It can be spicy though so beware lol. They also now offer a vegan beyond meat litto I am dying to try I just have not gotten around to it. I would say give them a try.

I came at 5:45 on a Monday (because no other places are open on Mondays!), and was one of maybe four me. In the place. The rest were moms with one or two (or more!) kids, some waiting for dad to join them after work. I ate in a covered patio that in a few months will be too hot to endure. But tonight, mid-March, it's a sunny delight. I ordered a smashburger and a Kingstown Negroni. Drae stirred my drink and out the order in, and it arrived with fries just minutes later. Juicy double patty burger, caramelized onions, cheese, salt & pepper fries. Fresh and very tasty. WiFi was fast, music was smooth but subdued. (Think Sade and Barry White dueling. Wish I wasn't alone!) Kids were everywhere, but very well-behaved and in explore mode, which I find adorable! There are outside areas covered in open or tarps, clear flexi-glass walled off areas, and true "indoor" places you can watch TV in. Everything from Top Gear to REN & Stimpy. A great way to spend an early dinner/very late lunch.

It's kind of a bug and feature. They have the order from your table QR code set up where you can get drinks and food served to you either inside or out. The service is always quick and prompt. This place is great on a nice day. It's not somewhere I would typically seek out myself unless with friends (with kids) or hosting a small party (where there might be friends (with kids) attending.

Oh and I had to polish things off with that fresh banana pudding. Yall better stop playing and come down to chcien hut and get you a plate. The staff was full energy and we're genuinely friendly making it a personal experience for everyone. You could even tell that many regulars weee coming and going as the staff chopped it up with everyone there like they knew them.
