They have a fine…read morecollection of watches that would probably interest people looking to buy a fine timepiece for their wrist. Most of the items in their collection are expensive, though they sit somewhere near the luxury level, but not at the same price point as something like Rolex, Breitling, or Omega. In fact, the only brand that I recognized when I walked into the store was Tag Heuer. Tag isn't a bad brand in my honest humble opinion, but it isn't exactly an amazing brand either. That said, if you're just looking for a good watch that won't easily breakdown and is something that will have the tendency to impress the people you bump into, then I suggest that you try walking into Washington cause you will find something that you like over there.

Jewelry is obviously out of budget for any student in high school unless they were the soon of a rich oil tycoon or someone along the lines of Warren Buffet or Bill Gates. A lot of the students often bought jewelry for their special someone here at Silverworks. None of us could afford gold at the time and many of us even had to struggle to afford something as precious as silver. Nevertheless, what really mattered when giving silver jewelry was the meaning behind it. Giving a girl a piece of jewelry, at least during my time in high school nowadays I'm not sure what a guy's supposed to give, meant a higher level of liking or that the couple is growing strong. I don't know if Silverworks still gets the same kind of patrons nowadays, but I sure do hope kids still appreciate a finely crafted piece of jewelry.

I think it's valuable to visit a unique place like this as there's lots of rare finds. It was pretty busy. I had to maneuver around a lot of people while browsing. They had a lot of merch that I wanted but I knew I didn't have a lot of space in my luggage. When you check out, just know green shopping bags are sturdy and good quality. I regret buying the brown shopping bags. I noticed they smelled funny when I unpacked my luggage when I got home. I ended up recycling them. I wish I had more luggage space. I wish I had more time in this store. I guess it gives me a reason to come back here on my next vacation.

I often have it done at some small watch repair stalls that I'd encounter somewhere, but I'm also a steady customer at Three S Gift Shop at Farmer's Plaza. There are a number of similar establishments in the building, but I've always felt a little more welcome there as the staff are a little more attentive and responsive to your needs. They've whole racks of straps there which won't necessarily empty your wallet, and good different kinds at that. I've always felt like the straps I've seen at the bigger, more expensive places (whichever those are) look too cumbersome for my taste. Are they genuine leather? Ask them that. Really all I care about is that it looks nice on my tiny wrists. They sell and repair various watches and clocks too, of course. While I have a preference to avoid bling with a humble leather watch, I'm quite taken with and I just might by this rose gold Casio number they have on display. There's always a booth that sells cheap, discounted watches by the hallway too, so if you're itching for some cheap timekeeper to up your wardrobe, drop by and have a look.

Consistently well-designed and always remarkable, Firma's store tableaus are always a source of inspiration. They are always a good introduction of what's in store for its visitors. Filled with lovely (and very expensive) pieces for the home, Firma's selection leans more towards an Asian or Eastern sensibility. (It's also noteworthy to point out that Firma is the brainchild by the same duo that own AC+632 in Greenbelt 3, a home décor store with a more European sensibility). It's always a pleasure for my to pore over Firma's selection of fine trays and china, sculptural home décor items and incredible fine jewelry made by local artisans. Aside from the décor and jewelry, there is also a selection of quirky hats and handbags for the lady or gent with offbeat taste.

It has actually turned into a special mother-daughter time. Firma to me is a unique furniture store...unlike any I've seen because of the amazingggg, must-see store displays that change every month or every other month (Seriously, I need to know who does those. I want to hire them to design some of the rooms in my future home!). They are art masterpieces on it's own. I also love the very homey vibe you feel when you enter the store. It's like you're transported to a beautiful, exotic, old-world Eurasian country. The only thing missing is a wise, old Chinese man greeting you by the door as a bell chimes. Their home accessories are quirky but glamorous and you can also find some vintage items there. If you love statement jewelry, you will LOVE their display of gorgeous wildlife, nature and sea inspired pieces. They're like gems you'd find in a treasure chest. I only find the store a bit small. I wish it were bigger as I'd love to see more stuff from them. I've bought bohemian-y jewelry from them before and they have turned into everyday jewelry for me and I do get a lot of compliments from wearing them. I love stopping by the store every time I'm in Greenbelt.

They have quite a good collection of scents for both men and women, although some of them are recognizable from other brands and not too unique. However, if they are a collection of these scents, then it is a great place to find what you want! After finding a scent, either remember it and buy from that fragrance store somewhere else, or better yet, use Arctic Rituals as a testing point if your chosen scent would work out for you. And hopefully, you stick to them. Why? Their products are not below standard, they can actually match other brands. I recommend the following for men: Ivy League: Heartthrob Game Time: Invincible Game Time: Varsity Date Night: Icebreaker Nature Trippin: Blue Ocean Date Night: The Chase For the ladies: Game Time: Muse Gourmet: Nectarine Blossom and Honey Feels Like Home: Baby Powder Nature Trippin: Cherry Blossom Just remember, my sense of smell is different from yours!

I'd probably categorize Arctic Rituals as having two kinds of scents: stuff that smells like it was inspired by certain things... and stuff that smells like other stuff. See, they have scents like vanilla ice cream and coffee which really does smell like whatever's on the tin. As much as I like my colognes that smell like dessert, I do enjoy their colognes that smell like actual cologne. They have your typical floral scents and you have other things with names like Gin and Tonic and Stiletto. Their colognes are also of fairly good quality. Their scents don't fade quickly and last a pretty good time. Another good bit is that you don't get the rubbing alcohol-like undertone that some independent perfume makers usually have.
Goldenhills Jewelry has a good selection of designs on display from earrings to necklaces and, of…read morecourse, engagement and wedding rings. If you are not content with their display items, you can choose designs from brochures. They also do custom made designs if you want a particular finish, thickness or gem to make your jewelry truly your own. We were quite late in buying our wedding rings (late as usual, LOL). It was good we ended up going to their shop in February though. All their jewelry was on sale! Discounts were from 20% to 60%! The moment we sat down, the ladies were there to walk us through the different rings they have. We tried every ring that fit our price range but nothing really "wow-ed" us. That's when the ladies offered that we have custom rings made because, with the discount, we would get it at a good price. Awesome! So, our rings will be made of white gold ring in a matte finish with yellow gold edging; my ring will have a gem because I didn't get an engagement ring (because Carlo gave me an "engagement house"). Super simple the design is very me and Carlo. :) From the discounted price, we paid for the reservation fee. Part of the service is also engraving for the rings. Just make sure the message will fit inside the ring. Also, Goldenhills gives you the option to pay for your rings in installment basis up to 6 months. That is very convenient! Lastly, the adjustment of the ring size and cleaning is free plus a Lifetime warranty! I have to say, I was very happy with the service of Goldenhills Jewelry. I really recommend this shop if you plan to buy your own " special occasion" ring or jewelries :D
