I can only review on their buffet as I've never oder any food from the menü before. However, we are very contented with their dinner buffet and Sunday buffet. We tried the lunch buffet once and there were not much dishes. Sunday buffet is best for us as my daughter who is lower than 130cm is free of charge. There are sushi, mussels, salad, fruits and desserts at one corner. Soup, springrolls, meat, prawns, duck, fish, satay etc at the other table. There are also raw meat (deer, salmon, prawns, squid,etc), vegetables that you can choose and ask the chef to cook for you on the spot. This is still my favourite Chinese restaurant in langenhagen. The only downside is that they could be serving the same food every Sunday. And this is a bit boring if you are eating there often.

We got two options for the soup: spicy and non-spicy. I really loved the peanut and plum sauces they had to go with the cooked stuff from the hot pot. The drink options are also great with beer on draft (extra cost) and umeshuu plum wine (included in the unlimited price!!). The price is amazing at 20€ per person for unlimited hot pot ingredients and (!!) the buffet! There is also a buffet with some decent options if you still aren't full from the hot pot, including a huge dessert section with a chocolate fountain (seriously!!). Mongus Garden is authentic, incredible, and highly recommended! It gets busy so it's best to make a reservation and mention you are coming for hot pot so they can prepare it. Watch the cook or sit down and the nice waiter will serve you your cooked food. If you don't want to wait the few minutes, help yourself to some fried rice, noodles, crispy duck, soy sprouts and other fresh or dried vegetables. Great choices of desert: jello, mousse au chocolate and baked bananas or pineapples. I have to say: the food tasted amazing, the drinks are priced fair and the staff is nice and helpful. We will be back!
