She sent me articles with highlighted/annotated notes to explain case law and precedent. She spent time filling in the gaps that my 2nd lawyer should have explained. Days pass without updates, calls go unanswered, and concerns that require immediate legal attention are met with silence. For a profession built upon trust, advocacy, and ethical duty, this level of disregard is deeply alarming. Attorneys swear an oath to faithfully discharge their duties, uphold the law, and act with diligence and loyalty toward their clients. That oath carries weight because clients entrust attorneys with matters that can impact their homes, finances, families, and futures. When communication breaks down to this extent, it raises serious concerns about commitment, professionalism, and the standard of care being provided. Clients should never feel abandoned by the very person hired to defend and guide them through complex legal situations. Legal representation is not merely about filing paperwork; it requires responsiveness, transparency, urgency, and dedication. Regrettably, this experience has reflected the opposite.
