I did not want that on her record. Now I have a more grave issue with a section 8 man on SSI and who bangs on the shared wall terrifying single mother and youth, and shouting outside like another lunatic I have to deal with. Attacked me verbally for enforcing pulling weeds as mentioned in lease. If he hears tiny dogs bark for even a few minutes, he is out in the garden bellowing. He came from a monastery and thinks ordinary family noise are intolerable and wants total silence. But the funnest part is this tenant insists on paying cash in a mail box down the road where it gets stolen ALL THE TIME, and I never use, and somehow wants me to go up and down the road on rent day until he is in the mood to deliver the rent. Go pray elsewhere and stop terrorizing women and children. But apparently you can only use the lawyer referral system only once. I usually can terminate on my own unless the person has violent and aggression issues, then I do need a lawyer. I will serve and see how he responds without a lawyer as I cannot afford one. I have stalled since May, but now that he has involved pounding on a wall where youth live, my foot will be arriving at his bottom soon so the kids can calm down and live in a safe home and I can work on my land to make it firewise, without the threat of this man exploding on me. Durning this time I filled Mr. Lodge in on what was going on in my marriage from my side of the view. He ask several financial questions before advising me on what I should do moving forward. He explained to me that I need to keep my cool in all hostile situations where my wife would be trying to push me to do something physical that I didn't want to do. During our conversation I spoke about wanting to obtain him as my lawyer so I could move forward with my divorce. The cost to do such, was a $6000 dollar retainer fee that I paid on October 3rd after a major incident happened at my house where my wife left me no choice but to file for divorce. I paid the $6K and then proceeded with helping me file the divorce paperwork. I send the paperwork back to Mr. Lodge who filed the petition. It wasn't accepted so he refilled it back out and signed my name and submitted it again. He reach out later to tell me it was done and how to serve her the proper papers. During my consultation we spoke of my case in great detail, then after the paperwork was filed he pushed me into allowing him to become the mediator in our divorce. I didn't understand why he wanted to do this but thought it wouldn't hurt. I later thought about all the things I disclosed to him during and after our consultation and started to wonder if my Spouse knew he had given me strong advice on how to hold my cool in situations where she is verbally abusive and or blacked out drunk, where she is trying to get a reaction out of me. After we spoke a few times on the phone and he negotiated his way from the attorney I thought I was retaining to the mediator he told me not to tell my spouse of our past conversations where I had disclosed private matters of this case from my point of view. All in all, I don't want to have a mediator and now when I ask for a refund, he doesn't respond to me at all. This is very unprofessional in my opinion. I will not be using him moving forward no matter what. Im trying to get him to refund my money as he has done nothing to earn it and now that he has treated me in such a manner, I don't want to work with him at all.
