I am very demanding when it comes to wine glasses and this store has more styles of wine glasses than all the stores in Paris or my home of Seattle. Let me explain. A wine glass must look fine yet fit in the dishwasher and survive the dishwasher. These glasses from Royal Leerdam in Holland can do this but they only seem to be available at la Vaisselle au Kilo. I can't find them in the US (but when I did they cost more than twice as much,) and I can't find them in Paris, (so much for the common market of the EU.) For selection this store can't be beat and for price they are very good as well.

The store is also just chock a block and jammed with pretty much everything conceivable to do with cooking. I reckon if you are a foodie, and looking for a particular gizmo, this store is sure to have it! Lots of Le Creuset options located downstairs and I was also impressed by both the quality and variety of chefs knives. There is also a great cookbook selection, but unfortunately when i went to check it out, the majority of them were in French and Dutch. Definitely go check this place out if yu are living in Brussels - it's food porn at its best!
