Cheezy Meal

Dillas is 100% my favorite go to when I need something quick. I always order a kids chicken or steak dilla, and it never misses. The service and always quick and efficient.

the fries were pretty good. the quesadilla itself is pretty thin and small for the price.

Hot Hatch - Regular with chicken

Dillas has become my favorite fast food-like restaurant. They have a good variety of quesadillas and also salads. I usually get the Founder quesadilla with chicken or the Hot Hatch quesadilla with chicken. Both of them are very good, I like the Hot Hatch slightly more since it has a bit of a kick after you dip it in the sauce. The quesadillas have been cooked perfectly every time I've ordered and been consistent both when eating in and when ordering through the drive-thru. It's slightly better as expected if you can eat it right away just as it's cooked. The service has been good both when eating at the restaurant and from drive-thru.

I've eaten here a few times and always enjoyed it- finally remembered to write a review! I typically get the founder, but decided to try the lone star. It was pretty good. The brisket had great flavor and was tender. I wish the meat was more evenly spread amongst the tortilla as it all clumped to the "bottom" of the quesadilla. The top half wasn't eaten as it was just tortilla and cheese. Seasoned fries were amazing as always. I always forget to order extra jalapeño ranch; it's yummy with whatever quesadilla you order AND the fries. Not much spice to it, but I also have a higher tolerance for spice. The cirrus corn salsa was forgettable; tasted like a bland homemade salad that went heavy on corn. Wasn't terrible, wasn't great. I wouldn't order it again. Chips and queso were delish and came free when I signed up for their rewards program. The queso had a Smokey flavor to it and a very subtle heat. The chips had whatever seasoning the fries have, which I love. I do wish the seasoning was distributed more evenly across the chips. I also ordered a limeade with this meal; not too sweet and very refereshing. It could have a tad more of that citrus tart I love so much in lemonades/limeades. A great change of pace from traditional fast food. The workers are nice and the service is fast.

Bluebonnet, very good!

Just adding to my review because i ordered a family pack for myself and three friends. The pack came with 2 megadillas, chils and queso, sauces, and a gallon of either tea or limeade. We were all really imlressed with the amount of food for only $50. Four adults were full at the end and we had some chips leftover. Service was also very quick, which was appreciated on a Saturday evening. We'll be doing this again as a cost-effective way to get people fed. And the food was delicious! Honestly, you can't go wrong here!

Dillas is a fun spot with good quesadillas. I like the option of the build your own Dilla. I choose chicken, spinach, peppers/onions, & jalapeno ranch sauce for my custom Dilla. My daughter chose chicken, peppers/onions, & guacamole sauce for her custom Dilla. The food was fresh and tasted very good. We both enjoyed our meals and look forward to visiting the restaurant again.

Supposed to be black bean, cheese with fries. Even the portion of fries is so skimpy. Very dissapointed not worth what I paid.

I ordered a black bean quesadilla and got literally a table spoon of black bean on the tortilla. This is the driest, skimpiest, smallest portion I have ever recieved from this place and I usually love this place because great portion for the price. I am very disappointed in this order.

Was new so of course I had to give it a try!!! And who doesn't love quesadillas!! They have a nice outdoor seating area and indoors it's order from the counter style everything was clean bright and the staff had a great energy! We were immediately greeted and welcomed in before we even got to the counter to order. Ordered the Buffalo chicken and build your own with chicken bacon green Chile and side of chimichurri cream sauce and jalapeño ranch! We also ordered the seasoned fries with queso bacon and sour cream.. Everything tasted wonderful and we were amazed at how good the Buffalo chicken quesadilla was!!! It was loaded with cheese chicken Blue cheese bacon Buffalo sauce and the combination was so so good!! The dipping sauces are made from scratch not from a bottle and tasted great! We really enjoyed the food and will definitively go back!!

Decided to try this place today! So glad I did! I told the guy taking my order I had never been here before and he was super accommodating! Explained the menu to me and even recommended one of his favorites! I got the Hatch and I was delicious! I will be back!

Cool spatula display!

I loved Dilla's so much on my first visit last year that I was excited to come back! We ate inside this time and got the kid's meals. Such a great deal with fries and a drink. So good, too! We also got an order of chips and questions. They had already given us our food and brought out another. When they saw that we already had some, they gave us the second order for free. Super nice of them! Not sure when I'll be back in town, but Dilla's will be on my list!

Lone star dilla regular - no red onions or cilantro

I went three the drive threw completely new I got the lone star : brisket , BBQ sauce , red onions , cilantro the service was awesome was super nice they guided me threw the menu they said they're fry's were the best in town , you see I'm big , that means I'm a fry connoisseur the fries were a 3 star not the best just basic tho the Cajun seasoning on it was awesome , the villa was awesome , it was flavorful the BBQ sauce was awesome and also it came with jalapeño ranch is also good it has a small kick to it and it was overall good the dillas are easy 5 star I would come back 4 stars

The Founder is what I chose. Steak as the protein. I love mushrooms, so great flavoring for me!

For this being the only Dilla focused restaurant I have ever been too, it is no doubt the best one haha Quick service and with two sides added I came out with a bill of $11. (Sweet tea as my drink) The quick sweetness reminded me of Canes but the chalky after taste reminded me of some quick home made sweetness at your grandma's house. The citrus corn side was a little small but it got the job done with the flavors. The seasoned fries were okay. Better than most mini steak seasoned frys I've had. A true 4.3, but being the only one I have been too. I'll give it a 5.

Expensive and nasty. It's a drive thru/fast food place that is overpriced and lacks in flavor. Do yourself a favor and eat someplace else.

Everything we ordered was delicious. The guacamole tasted super fresh, the queso was flavorful and came in a generous portion, and the salsa had just the right amount of kick without being too spicy. The only small hiccup was the chips situation--they give you big portions of guac, queso, and salsa, but the chips come in a tiny bowl. (Literally 10 chips) very sad for 6 people to fight over so little of chips. Not a huge deal, just a bit surprising. We also tried the margaritas--they had great flavor, though they tasted absent of tequila. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would definitely go back...maybe next time we bring our own chips! :)

If I could give La Fondita Mexican Restaurant six stars, I would legally change the rating system…read morejust to make it happen. Let me set the scene: I walked in expecting a casual meal and maybe a decent taco. What I got instead was a borderline spiritual awakening wrapped in foil and served with rice and beans. First of all -- the giant piña colada. When they say giant, they are not messing around. This thing arrived like it had its own gravitational pull. I'm pretty sure I saw a small family of tourists orbiting it. One sip and I was transported to a beach that doesn't even exist on any map -- coconutty, icy perfection with just enough kick to make me briefly consider texting my boss that I've moved to an island and won't be returning. Then came the beans. Listen carefully: I don't throw this word around lightly -- perfect. These beans were so good I genuinely paused mid-bite and just stared into the middle distance reevaluating my entire life. Creamy, rich, seasoned like someone's abuela whispered ancient secrets into the pot. I would trust these beans with my taxes, my passwords, and honestly my emotional well-being. And the corn tortillas... dear lord, the corn tortillas. I have had tortillas in many places, including at my own abuela's table -- and saying this feels like confessing a sin -- but these might be the best I've ever had besides abuela's. Warm, soft, slightly charred in all the right places, like they were handmade by someone who has been perfecting this craft since before I was born and possibly before electricity was invented. If I could build a house out of these tortillas, I would. I would live there. Happily. And then--just when I thought things couldn't escalate further--the huevos rancheros arrived. Eggs cooked to that perfect sweet spot where the yolk still has a little rebellion left in it, laid over a bed of everything that matters, all tied together with a sauce that refuses to be anything less than unforgettable. It's the kind of breakfast that makes you question why you ever settle for anything less in life. Comforting, bold, and somehow both rustic and wildly impressive at the same time. Everything else on the plate? Outstanding. Rice that actually deserves to be eaten and not just politely ignored. Salsa that sneaks up on you like, "oh this is nice--OH okay there it is." Service? Friendly, fast, and somehow emotionally supportive. Atmosphere? The kind of place where you immediately feel like a regular even if it's your first time. Final verdict: If you are anywhere within a 50-mile radius of Denton and you are not eating at La Fondita Mexican Restaurant, you are making a series of deeply questionable life choices. I came in hungry. I left changed.

We started things off right with chips, jalapeño ranch dip, and queso, which is honestly the only proper way to begin a Chuy's visit. The queso was warm, creamy, and exactly what my soul needed, and the chips with that jalapeño ranch were the cherry on top. Speaking of cherries, we also got the Tito's cherry limeade, and it was the spring we didn't know we needed to bounce. Crisp, cold, a little dangerous in the cutest way, and honestly adorable -- the perfect little kick to start the meal. Our waiter was top notch: kind, attentive, and somehow always there right when we needed something without ever hovering. That kind of service makes the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. For food, we ordered the Baja shrimp tacos, and when I say the shrimp is BIG, I mean it (and no, we're definitely not out here flattering any men ). The shrimp was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and absolutely the star of the plate. They came with rice and beans, and even though I forgot to ask for the cilantro lime rice , I was still super happy with everything. We also got the steak fajita Tex-Mex burrito bowl, and every single bite just kept getting better. The steak was tender, packed with flavor, and once it all got mixed together with the salsa and scooped up on the crispy tostada, it was perfection. This meal was such a good reminder of why Chuy's became a favorite for me in the first place -- fun atmosphere, great food, amazing service, and one of those dinners that just hits from the first chip to the last bite.

The Tex-Mex here is seriously top tier, and the portions are more than worth it. And let's not forget the creamy jalapeño dip... easily one of the best things on the menu! If you're looking for a spot with great food, great service, and a lively atmosphere, Chuy's is definitely the place to go. I'll 100% be coming back
