Seats with large tables line one side of the garage with the kitchen situated in the middle and down alongside the other side is narrow high bar stool seating, perfect if you want some quiet space. On a nice day you have the option of sitting outside. Mojo garage therefore is great for loners and small to large groups, also people who want to bring their dogs, or kids. Great food, nice staff, good coffee and a cool environment. Whether the garage door is up or down is weather dependent, if it is up and the large table facing outside isn't taken sit there, I think it is the best seat in the house (I mean garage).

Mojo offer delicious coffees and iced beverages as well as a great selection of ready to eat cabinet food and an ample menu to order from. Last time I was there I sat out on the benches in the sun with a friend and enjoyed an iced chocolate. It was such a great set up, and the cafe even has brilliant Mojo sunhats available for customer's use which is a definite bonus as there isn't too much shade in their outdoor area. The staff at Mojo are mostly quite young and funky, and one of the baristas - Connor - is particularly chatty and makes the best coffees. Make sure you ask for him next time you're at Mojo! Tip: The on-street parking is mostly pay-and-display, so make sure you have some cash on hand!

For the price I would rather go to other tapas place which IA had much better experience...

Again another eatery offering tapas style meals, but also with a huge selection of specials on offer. We were told to try the garlic pretzel bread, and I would recommend this loaf to anyone whose a fan of garlic bread! So warm and soft and served with half a roasted garlic too. The corner is not a place where you are trying to watch your weight. Also sharing gourmet chippies, cajun shrimp tacos and sashimi special. The gourmet chips were a tad disappointing, purely because I am a fan of the thick cut chips and when a menu item says 'gourmet' I dunno but I expect big handout chips. The sashimi was a great option to balance out the heaviness of the other dishes we ordered and flavour was good. The prawn tacos didn't shout amazing but at least they were cooked perfectly. I think The Corner is a great place for some greasy bites and a good ole beer. The service is great. Food was efficient and the girl was very informative with all questions. The only suggestion I would make is to remove the specials off the mirror, because if you're sitting at a table, you can't see them unless you stand up and walkover to read them. Its just a tad awkward. Rating Food: 7.5/10 Service: 9/10 Value for Money: Very Good 143 Picton Street, Howick Opening Hours: Mon-Fri 12pm-Late Sat-Sun 10am-Late

The women who served us (and who seemed to be running the show) was also brilliant. She helped us decide what to order from the extensive and somewhat intimidating menu so that we got a good mix of flavours and she absolutely nailed it. She even offered to give us half serves we when couldn't decide between two curries - what a gem! The only negative about this place is the atmosphere. I find Victoria Park in itself to be bit lacklustre and in Ivillage the high ceilings and large dining don't do much to combat this. Regardless, the food so that good that I would happily return again and again!

As appetizers, we started with the pan puri and tandoori chicken taco. It's my first time having pan puri, which is a popular Indian street food. It is deep-fried puffed bread that is crispy and hollow filled with potato, chickpea, and mint. The waiter poured liquid into it. It was a perfect bite. Pita bread was used for the tacos. For our entrees, we had the lamb seekh and tandoori chicken. The spinach sauce was spicy, but enjoyable. I wished they turned the AC up higher while I was eating it though. I also like that they incorporated mushrooms in the dish. The tandoori chicken was tender and the sauce was also nice. Overall, I preferred the lamb seekh while my bf preferred the tandoori chicken. The entrees came with basmati rice, which we needed a refill of, and garlic naan. Dessert was what I was most looking forward to. The menu stated "Tropical Sorbet, Coconut, Lychee." When it was served, the waiter described it a little bit, but didn't mention anything about the lychee. I thought they gave me the wrong dessert. The lychee was located within the center as a nice surprise though. I was still a little confused about the different components of the dessert and asked the waiter again. He wasn't able to fully explain it to me. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch here. I was quite full. The main thing is that I feel like the menu could be a little more descriptive. Maybe they don't want the menu to look busy. BUT if I don't understand what I'm eating, how would I be able to appreciate it.

Their food is very good / it's one of the best fusion Indian restaurants I've been to in the world after Indian Accent, but the entree section of their menu needs some work. Food 4/5: We got the tasting menu, which was great and I'd highly recommend it but it was a ton of food so only do so if you're quite hungry! In general I thought the appetizers were among the best fusion Indian dishes I had but we were less impressed by the entree section. Pani puri 3/5: Good but nothing special Goat cheese and pepper fritter 5/5: Great quality and awesome flavor combination Paneer appetizer 5/5: Paneer had great texture and was well flavored. Tandoori fish 4/5: Carrot 5/5: my favorite dish of the whole meal. It's a must order! Amazingly cooked and flavored! Blue cod 5/5: 2 of our parties favorite dish Cauliflower 2/5: Was a bit too hard i thought and the flavoring was a bit too harsh (for lack of a better word). Mushroom entree 3/5: Fine but I thought it was pretty average Service 3/5: Service was great for the first half of the meal but after our entree I think they forgot about us. The service slowed down a lot and they eventually moved us to the bar because the next party for our table arrived.

I started with the Bruschetta which had tomato, avocado, basil and bocconcini (small mozzarella cheese balls) which was absolutely delicious. The bread was crispy and bocconcini so fresh and soft! Prawns in prawn risotto ($21.50) were huge and tangy and the seasoning was perfect. Mediterranean eggs with bacon ($15.5) was average while Rare grilled tuna salad ($20.5) was slightly too bland. I didn't try the Grilled salmon ($20.5) but everyone else seemed to enjoy that dish. We also tried the Muesli which was the chef's special. This was the first time I've actually tried a muesli and it was amazing. Fruit toppings (a generous amount of grapes, strawberry and blueberry) went well with the soya milk and yes, I will come back here to have more of this. What was extremely surprising was how delicious their ice mocha was! It was blended with an ice cream so had a very thick texture which was enjoyable. Also the bread that came with salads was absolutely crispy and fresh - I could have eaten the whole thing.
