Extremt god mat!!!! Liten lokal och högst ordinär dryckeslista...men allt vägs upp av maten!

Well I had the cravings for some Indian food, and this one had the best reviews…read more As I walked in, I got a funny vibe. But after beeing seated and getting my order in everything calmed down. I got an appetizer of some shredded iceberg salad, cucumber, tomato and some righteous raita. It was fresh, zesty and full of flavor. After the joy of seeing my beer land on the table and after having spent what seemed like an eternity (no more than 10 min, I was just hungry) my Lasoni king prawn sizzle arrived. Now I should have checked with the all-knowing interwebs before ordering and therefore I can't blame the restaurant but the dish was not for me. Why not? It was cut up onion, bell peppers, prawns, a few spices and some herbage served with a tomatoe based sauce. Now I don't know about you, but that don't cut the mustard with me! However, the dish (though lacking in spice and complexity) was lovingly prepared and the staff was friendly. Now I ordered another thing as well.. a buttered parantha (flatbread) it had some seeds baked into it (black sesame seeds I think) and it was fabulous! It was a magical cross between the suddle flaky buttery goodness of a croissant and the slightly chewy texture of a naan. Pure crack for a bread lover. I'd visit again only for the bread. Would I go back? Yes. The only thing I would change here is the menu (the list itself), a better explanation of the dish perhaps (blabla... a creamy tomatoe based dish, mild) if you catch my drift. I'd definitely go for something spicier, with a side of extra raita and that lovely parantha. Thank you King of India for that lovely bread experience!

The chicken and lamb was too dry and the staff was stressed out and not that friendly. Too pricey…read morefor what you get..go elsewhere, maybe try a thaifood place instead? Because the interior seemed cozy and the toilet seemed to fresh and clean you get an extra star.
