You'd think I was exaggerating if I told you the ridiculous excuses I heard, the difficulty I repeatedly had trying to reach him, the continuous lazy errors, or how he danced around accepting any responsibility for his substandard work or his utter lack of professionalism. A month past my twice-promised-date and I still need to have my unfinished project fixed and completed elsewhere. In my experience, Chad Shears should not be selling his services as a graphic designer when he doesn't meet the fundamental criteria.

Start date was May 2016 with a 3 -4 week duration and a "to be completed no later than June 31st". As of Oct 13, 2016, the site is still not ready to be released. Errors, missing e-mail notification routines, image linking to Box of Postives's development site still exist and are a few of the outstanding elements that need to be resolved. The developer was not able to install the site onto our Linux server, developer did not (still does not) know Linux. This company had one excuse after another as to delays; weeks went by with no activity. Eventually, the owner admitted that he could only work on the site on weekends as he had taken a "day job". Despite repeated warnings that our technical person would be leaving the country for a month on October 12th and would be available to assist the company to install the site on our Linux server up to October 11th, the company chose to do nothing. We will be exploring our legal options to recover the original deposit plus costs incurred and will be incurred to complete the project.
