Honestly, form outside did not seemed too much but because I send some of my clients over there to have dinner I thought that I should try it myself as well.... :D And boy, what a great place! I have many dining, many places, but this one we still talk about after few days! They have an open kitchen actually you can see what is going on there. The waiters were (there were a lady and a young boy there, can't remember their names.... sorry) super attentive. The chef gave a taste of a small mustard portion that he just created right there on the spot until we were waiting for the main course. And the main course....! Heavenly! Really! After having been on the road for several weeks already and not always eating the best food throughout the day, I decided to treat myself to a vegetable-forward dinner. A quick internet research led me to this place and I made a reservation for one. I wasn't disappointed at all. In fact, this was the best meals I've had in a long time. What I loved most about this place is how they structured their menu: vegan and vegetarian dishes first and then - almost as an afterthought- come the meat dishes. Well done! So we went elsewhere. We went back the next night at an off-hour and while the food was fine, I would have been highly disappointed had we waited in line for 30 minutes, let alone 2 or more hours. This restaurant has a prime location and a strong online reputation. And perhaps our experience was impacted by the fact that we went at an off-hour. We came in around 5pm for an early dinner before our train back to Munich and was able to grab a table for 4. We got incredibly lucky because the restaurant really filled up and by the time we left, there was a long line down the block. Of course we had to have their Original Wiener Schnitzel, which was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also had a Salzburger Nockerl, which is a classic Austrian soufflé dessert that is considered a culinary symbol of Salzburg. You do have to order this about 20 minutes in advance, so we ordered it when we made our entree orders. This was really good and honestly, more than enough for our group of 4. I also highly recommend their house beer, which was one of the best beers I had during our 10 day trip.
