Service was prompt and friendly and left nothing to be desired. The hotel which is also part of the place is quite nice if you come from further away, but nothing special. Directly behind the hotel are numerous hiking trails heading into the mountains, and one that leads to a beautiful gorge. The hotel is located within driving distance to Salzburg, Hallstatt, and Berchtesgaden which makes it a perfect starting point for many different journeys. The staff at the Pass are extremely friendly, and speak perfect English being that David the owner comes from England. The Breakfast in the morning is delicious, and was the best we found while traveling around Austria and Germany. One stand out is the indoor playroom for kids with a little slide and a ball pit. This is a great way to keep the kids entertained while resting in the evenings. Overall if traveling through Austria this is a great place to center your vacation around. I wouldn't think twice about staying here again.
