From her time…read morethere she collected all kinds of little treasures from Germany and brought them back for family and friends - of those that she gave my father included German smokers and a Christmas Pyramid. These became iconic holiday items that every year we looked forward to getting out and putting on display in our home. This was my second time in Germany and the first time I picked up one smoker in the black forest when I was studying abroad, but this time I wanted a Christmas pyramid of my own and upon finding this shop I knew I'd come to the right place. Kathe Wolfhahrt is the quintessential holiday shop in Germany. You'll find anything and everything iconically christmas for this region of the world and it will not let you down. On this trip I found a great pyramid that I'll get to enjoy with my own family and added a charming little chubby cat man smoker to our holiday collection. I'll caution you that it isn't cheap, but I do think the quality of this shop is much better than other little vendors you'll find in the region, and honestly even if you don't end up purchasing anything it's a really fun shop to explore and look at these pieces of German artwork.
