Petco uses this company to deliver. Placed order 11/30/16. No updates from Petco, nor Dicom. When I use UPS or Fed-Ex I get emails from them directly, and accurate status updates. If they are delayed they tell me. No bs from legit companies like that.
Dicom? No communication, and completely false tracking info. This company is a complete joke.
Delivery is supposed to be in 2-3 days. A week goes by with no details about my order. No delivery. No sign of it. Emailed with no reply. Emailed again, no reply. Day 9: Called Petco and was given 2 Dicom tracking numbers (my order was split in 2). Petco claimed Dicom delivered one package on 12/5/16, which is a lie. They said the other order showed "out for delivery." They then contacted Dicom while I sat on hold. Petco agent came back to say Dicom admitted to her that they lied about delivery Monday in their tracking, and that in fact nothing was delivered. They also admitted nothing was on any truck for delivery today. Promised delivery of all items tomorrow (day 10).
What kind of two-bit operation is this? How can you provide tracking with status updates that are completely false?
How can you deliver for a pet company who supplies food sustenance, and sit 9 days on an order?
What conditions are my pets' foods sitting in, while these people delay and lie about where it is? How can I trust the food isn't spoiling in extreme heat or cold? They lie about everything else, I'm sure they kick the packages and leave things in too-hot or too-cold temps. Why not? It goes with the attitude.
Clearly they know they are not processing anything in time, thus the bs tracking updates that claim things are delivered, or on a truck, when they're absolutely not. Just make something up to satisfy the terms of your Petco contract and screw the customers, right? Completely unacceptable and ridiculous. The last I was told by Petco, was that the "truth" now, is that my $350 order is sitting on a loading dock at my local Dicom station. Who knows where it really is or what is happening?
I then called Dicom and spoke to Andy. Told him my whole story. Andy put me on hold (this is now over 50 minutes of time on the phone looking for this order) to contact my station. He confirmed nothing was delivered and nothing is out for delivery. He said I am not the first to complain about this driver, and he is "being disciplined," and these will be delivered tomorrow. Really?
Or, is that the story you recite all day when your company greedily accepts 10 times the business it can possibly handle, and then makes up bogus tracking status, plus bogus delinquent deliverymen stories, just to bs your clients and their customers?
I told Andy this is not helpful because I am out of pet food, when I gave them 9 days to get this to me and nothing is here. He very obnoxiously told me to run out to the store. I told him I bought online in the first place to avoid the time and money of paying 3x the cost to do so. (Buying online to have things shipped provides him a job, right?) I told him his company was wasting my time and money by lying about tracking info to their client, and delaying my order 7 days beyond the promised delivery date. He said nothing for a pregnant pause, and then sarcastically and completely insincerely said "my apologies." What an unprofessional and nasty person to have representing your business.
Totally horrid company.
If this happens again with an order, I am going to the Attorney General. It is one thing to be behind in deliveries, it is something altogether different to flat out lie about shipment details and claim something was delivered when it never was, and then not even take it seriously that you falsified delivery status. Like it's this casual thing you just do all the time. Claiming you delivered a package you never did is called FRAUD.
Still waiting for my missing order, which they claim will be here tomorrow (that will be day 10, after promised delivery in 2-3 days).
If you want copious amounts of your time wasted, and want to be lied to while these crooks laugh all the way to the bank, then use Dicom.

UPDATE: Day 10.
One package arrived, 15 cans dented. Petco will be reimbursing for that, thanks to Dicom.
The other package? Despite 1 more call to Petco, and 2 more calls to Dicom (a running total of 1hr 35mins wasted time), they now have no idea where it is. The tracking no longer states it's on a truck, it's now disappeared. I "may" have it tomorrow, or "may" have it Monday "at the latest." Right. read more
