Extremely disappointed. We ordered via grubhub a 3 meat plate, chicken(x2) and jalapeno cheddar kielbasa, with 3 sides of baked potato casserole topped with bacon bits, a dinner roll, 2 sides of sour cream, 2 sweet bbqs and 2 spicy bbqs. We placed our order a little before 6:30pm. A few minutes later we received a phone call informing us they were out of chicken and turkey. We ended up changing our chicken to pork. Once our food arrived I found a chunk of something disgusting in my potato casserole. I'm not quite sure if it was the fat part of bacon or a huge chunk of onion. For our "dinner roll" we received their sandwich bread cut in half. It didn't taste anything like a dinner roll. It tasted more like a stale piece of bread. As for our bbq sauce, we received one bbq sauce. Therefore, it was only enough for one of the meats, leaving the other two bland and dry. read more

I was driving and passed by a Texas Roadhouse - but was in a rush to get home and decided to open Google Maps and see what else was along my route (first mistake). When I found Dickey's in Lathrop, I noticed an Order Takeout option as a plugin to the app. Upon ordering, I found it simple enough aside from the fact that I was 20 mins away and the only option was for ASAP. I called the restaurant after placing my order, to advise them of my arrival at 8:05 PM and to not start the order right away. They acknowledged and said they would delay so it was fresh. When I walked into the door of the business and announced I was there for my online order, they responded "FOR ________?" to which I confirmed. They handed me a bag and made me sign a receipt, at which time I added a tip and left with what I thought was my order. By the time I got to my car, I checked the order only to find it was somebody else's with the name on the receipt with none of the items I requested using your service. So I took it back and they told me that somebody else had already come and claimed my order. I showed them my ID and that the clock said 8:04 when I walked in, just as I had mentioned on the phone when I announced my 8:05 ETA by phone minutes after submitting my online order. They then questioned me thinking I was trying to scam them and get double food or something, even though they had just handed me somebody else's food and even sign that person's receipt. After clearing myself of any wrongdoing, and the point they decided to accept responsibility a few mins later (now 8:10), they said they would remake the order. So I waited ANOTHER 15 mins (now 20 mins after my arrival, and 35 mins from my initial ordering time using Zuppler via Google Maps), and left with what I thought was my order. I checked the top box in the car, only to find COLD-to-WARM ribs that were inedible without reheating. So I drove back and arrive home 45 mins later to ONLY 2 OF THE 5 ITEMS I ORDERED. When I called their restaurant on it just before closing, they said that the 2 items were the only thing on my receipt and they had it in front of them. I will absolutely be contacting their corporate office to complain in the morning and filing a chargeback to get my money for this entire fiasco. Furthermore, I will never use your service or any Google affiliate for food orders again. This was an absolute waste of my time when I was already in a rush and money was lost for items that I was not provided at pickup. Need I elaborate further on an absolutely terrible customer experience? I should also mention that none of their kitchen staff, nor require patrons to wear masks per sign on the door reading MASKS OPTIONAL (a double violation of the new CA Mask Indoor Mandate that started today, and CDC's nationwide requirement for unvaccinated individuals indoors). It's ALSO a violation of San Joaquin County's Health Department Mandate for any foodservice member to not wear a mask behind the counter when handling food or money. If corporate refuses to refund the entire order, or I will make sure that my bank gets it back for me personally. read more

Served us cold food. Pork ribs were cold and seemed like it was from the day prior. Hands down second worse bbq ribs I have ever had. Bake Potato was old and cold that it didn't melt the butter. Brisket?!, I wouldn't even call it brisket. It was more like bbq slab of fat. It was cold as well. 100 bucks for cold half ass food. As a food vendor or restaurant you should be embarrassed to even serve that to your customers. read more

They served me an old baked potato. Took my whole lunchtime up at 11 am. to get this and couldn't see them make this as they have tables blocking the view. Got it back to the office and saw they were brown and called, they said I can come back and exchange it. Well I took up my whole lunch time so couldn't leave till I was off- needless to say at this point I was starving and nothing to eat. I requested a refund. This was several hours ago and nothing. I went by after work 3:30 pm and they said I would have to wait an additional hour for a manager. I live an hour away in traffic, tired and was not waiting. Still at almost 6 pm and no resolution. I made my order online to be picked up at a specified time, I got there early 10 minutes early so when I picked it up it would be nice and hot. Got it home which was a 4 minute ride and it was cold. It was dried out and cold. Wings were cold and very tough. I spent well over $100 on wings ribs other meats and sides. I'm very disappointed!!! read more

Extremely poor customer service from the top down. I placed an order online for curbside pickup. I arrived 10 minutes early and called them just to let them know I was there. I did not expect to get my order early, but also did not expect to still be sitting in my car 15 minutes after my scheduled pickup either. I decided to go inside to see what was taking so long and discovered they had not even started assembling my order. Apparently they were completely swamped by the other two customers they had in there.... I was given a cup to go fill my daughters drink and two plastic containers to go fill my own BBQ sauce. I try to support local businesses, especially during this COVID-19 event, but I also try to do it with the least amount of contact possible, which is why I ordered curbside to begin with. I eventually received my order and left... When I arrived at home I discovered they neglected to give me one of the extra sides I ordered and paid for. I called and asked to speak with the manager to see how I could get a refund. The manager was rude and dismissive stating they "Didn't really do curbside." Then perhaps it should not be an option on your website and mobile app. I was told they would process the refund for my missing side, however given the overall attitude by the staff and the manager, I am not holding my breath. Again, I try to support as many local businesses as I can all the time, even more so during this pandemic, but I can assure you I will never step foot in this establishment again. Customer experience is everything. Delivering a great customer experience is what drives repeat business. This specific customer experience is why I will never be back. read more

Wow... Where do I start? My husband and I walked in...apparently we were invisible because the 2 kids working there didn't acknowledge us. We were so close to just walking out. One of the kids was walking around on his phone behind the counter while he was helping a customer. We couldn't believe it. Finally the meat cutter acknowledges us after my husband waved at him. He takes our order, with an attitude. I asked if the potato salad had pickles in it...he said no, it did...I hate pickles so there goes a waste of one of my sides. He tells us they are out of rolls and asks if we want "Texas toast" instead, we said yes. It was NOT Texas toast, it was toast on old tasting bread, not even a lick of butter. The okra, which is usually my favorite was not seasoned even a tiny bit. It went from the fryer to the bag. Now on to the filthy mess everywhere. You guys DO realize people eat here right? Got the brisket sandwich. Totally dry and not juicy at all. I expect my brisket to be falling apart because it's cooked to perfection. This seemed more like an overcooked meat. To start, the cashier was pleasant and the CokaCola was good. The salad was OK, but what I went for was the BBQ. I had the rib plate for dinner. Absolutely no taste. The were excessesably tender, not my favorite, but the real issue was the taste. There was NONE, as if they had been boiled to death, then placed in a smoker or oven only for color. The sauses also very light on the taste and thin, like water. The mack and cheese was over cooked and the cheese was very watery and without taste. Maybe I will go back for a Coke but not for the BBQ, the worst that I ever had. I would also add that my wife and I eat out often, 6 to 9 times a week. We went in at 8pm....hours posted said they close at 9:30pm. We were told off the get go "we are out of pretty much everything but pulled pork." We were fine with that because that's what we were going to order anyways. We get half way through telling him our order and he randomly says (it's 8:10pm) and "and also just so you know we are about to close so you can't eat it here." 8:10-9:30 is an hour and 20min difference. Food was good, I ordered the 3 rib meal with green beans and Cole slaw. Ribs were very tender and flavorful. My husband got the sliced brisket with green beans and baked beans and he said it was good as well. I would say the only minor complaint was how long it took to fix our plates. There were only 3 guys in front of us and looked like one staff member and two owners. It took them 10 minutes to help the 3 guys and another 6 min to help us. Their service was really poor and the food was mediocre, dry, and cold! Tried to get it resolved nicely with the employees but now it's evident to see where their poor customer service comes from... their owner Chand! The owner is worse than his employees and didn't accept any accountability. He went on and on about how over 100 customers were there the day we were and not any of them complained. Refused to refund us or welcome us come back on them. You can only be as good as your boss... Expecting a call from corporate soon. read more
