Not a huge beer selection but a decent one. I was impressed because I found different things than I am used to seeing a t Specs. Plenty of parking and quick in and out unless you wanna browse. I'm going to make this a regular stop. Pros Super friendly staff, good unique variety, fair prices Cons not a big beer selection

Decent selection (not fair to compare it to other super-stores). Particularly on the liquor side, they're not going to have the beer/wine selection of the bigger stores, don't have the square footage. Although I did get a limited release Pumpkinator here once. Prices are a bit higher than you can get elsewhere but reasonable. Did I mention the convenience? The best feature of this store is the customer service. Friendly, polite, has that local store feeling. They don't breath down your neck asking if you need help. Always smiling upon checkout. I'll continue to go here, you should too. If it's convenient.

Just asked to see their extended menu! Every time I come in, the lady or gentleman that is working at the counter is always super helpful and kind! I've tried about 10 different flavor combinations and so far I haven't disliked a single one. Being lazy and don't wanna get out of your car? No worries, they have a drive-thru!! I believe you can have up to 5 shots added to your drink, depending on your size of beverage. So that is really nice if you want an extra buzz! Also, if you don't want alcohol added, you can get any one of their flavor combinations nonalcoholic, which is a wonderful option! They have a bunch of gummy shots, Jell-O shots, peach rings, gummy bears, sour worms, and other shot things. They also have some snacks and candy for you to purchase too! The ambience is bright with tables and chairs for seating and they also have hookah as well! Try this place out, you won't be disappointed!

So from that standpoint and expectation, I get the one star. I do. But it's not a terrible liquor store. It doesn't have terrible selection, even if the selection pales vs their MUCH better store down south. They have some interesting stuff. Most prices are okay, BUT some are indeed marked up ridiculously and are totally laughable. But I'm used to seeing that in stores these days, so I tried to rate the store as a stand-alone liquor store, NOT in comparison to the mecca that is their other store. Still, ridiculous mark-up does get at least one star dinged. Service was friendly, FYI. I definitely disagree with Mike J., as I associate NASA greatness and Alex influence with the other store - but maybe this store was great back in 2016. I have no idea. I've known about the other store for years, while I only visited this one recently. It was my first and last visit, and I'll only hit the waaaaay better store to the south when it comes to NASA Liquor. My comments apply to Donna R C's review, too - I'm wondering if this location rocked back in 2016-2017? It does *not* rock now (lol), and they do not have the incredible selection described in 2016-2017. FYI...

It's also a pretty small store, less than half the size of most convenient stores. If you're coming here for craft beer, you're pretty much out of luck and they don't even seem to have much in the way of singles. They do at least carry Galveston Island Brewing beers and New Belgium. They do have a wine selection, but the prices are way out of line, even more expensive than convenience stores. These high prices may be due to its location near the beach and hotels. I'll give them credit for a decent liquor selection, including some single malt scotches, but once again the prices are fairly high. They also carry some Jell-O shots, cigarettes, cold drinks, and some mixers. If you're looking for a better selection of beer and wine at much better prices, you're better off going to the Kroger down the street. Some helpful information in the images below.
