"Midi express" is a quick 1 hour class; 1/2 cooking. 1/2 eating but they never rush you. Spotless kitchen. Chef Alex is an exceptional chef & teacher. Really puts you at ease, explains techniques very well. Coco was a gracious host, offering us wine and bringing it into the kitchen classroom for us. We cooked a pork tenderloin with an unusual compound butter of horseradish, lemon, parsley. Delicious. They send you the recipe the next day. A delightful experience. Even if you are staying in Vieux Quebec (as we were) it is totally worth an Uber ride to their class. Must go!

Such a fun experience!!! Located right next to my workplace, a few colleagues and I decided to try…read morethem out for a cooking class, and it was amazing! Few things to note that made it perfect: it's conveniently located to where I work, the session we took is design to fit your lunch time (30 mins to cook & 30 mins to eat), the cost for the experience was such a great bargain (about 25 bucks) and you walk away with a brand new recipe that you can use later on to entertain and impress your future guests. We learned how to make this delicious smoked salmon risotto with asparagus in a butter sauce (yum!). The chef/instructor was great to follow, he explained everything in details and most importantly he made sure that everyone was included and felt part of the whole process, it was a total of 7 of us and we each played a vital role in the final presentation (and taste) of the risotto. If you're ever in Quebec City for more than a day, looking to do something fun, maybe involve a big group as an outing, this is a great way to learn something new, have fun doing it and taste the fruits of your hard labor!
