Finally a "medical assistant" presented herself and said the receptionist was on lunch and she's the only one who knows how to register patients... since we were already there with our 23mo old we opted to wait. 35 minutes past our appt time she showed up and took her sweet as time registering us. Then we went in and were helped but the other medical assistant. They do not have the suitable tools to get a toddler pulse ox so just decided the reading was very low (vs. inaccurate). She the said she saw chest retractions. The doctor then came in and also "saw the retractions and heard tons of wheezing". She suggested they call an ambulance because my toddler (who had a cough and was otherwise in good spirits) was in respiratory distress. This was as a reminder despite the fact that our son was not in any type of rush to be seen just 45 minutes prior. The ents arrived and quickly confirmed his vitals and pulse ox were absolutely fine (using a device suitable for a toddler) but we proceeded to the hospital. In the ambulance it should be noted that the urgent care staff handed over paperwork to the ents for the wrong patient. Very quickly the ER was able to rule out any concerns besides a regular children's cough. His pulse ox was not even 1% lower than perfect. His lungs were clear. His chest was not retracting at all. In my life I've never experienced such gross negligence and a lack of care. Sure it is great to be overly cautious with children, but medical expertise needs to be used as well. Do not go here unless you want to spend a fortune on an unnecessary trip to the ER and deal with the trauma of taking a toddler in an ambulance.

We showed up at 11:15 AM and followed the signs to park and in designated area. We called to make them aware we were in the lot and we were told to put on our "flashers" which we did. At 12 noon no one had come to perform the COVID test so we called again and once again were told they were on the way out. In the meantime another vehicle showed up with a ca full of people to be tested, and they parked in the middle of the lot. Finally, at 12:45 PM a man appeared to do the testing and promptly walked over to the car with several people parked illegally rather than to our vehicle which was parked in designated area for 1 and a half hours WITH AN APPOINTMENT. My wife exited coir car and called to him "excuse me" at which time the nurse "Chris" became aggressive with my wife. He stepped towards her with his hand in her face and yelled "BACK OFF"! He refused to listen to her and after witnessing his abusive and insulting behavior, I confronted "Chris" with THE FACTS at which time he threatened to call police and stated "now I refuse to perform the COVID test so leave". This individual "Chris" was confrontational with my wife and more so with myself. I contemplated calling the Stamford Police but my wife was too upset. Fortunately we received a call from a young woman named Lisa who apologized and came outside to perform the COVID test. The practice itself is okay but you can tell they are after one thing; your wallet. They pushed a hysteroscopy on me and IUI when I could have just went ahead with IVF. The coordinator and nurse who were assigned to me were always out when I needed to get in touch with them and never coordinate dates and times in an efficient way. This practice is always so busy and booked months out in advance. How many day 1's occurred over the weekend and then no one responds until late Monday with news that the practice can't see me in time? Too many for me. Once I did have my tests and hysteroscopy, the billing coordinator was so rude to me about my balance and basically said, if you don't pay your balance in full, we can't proceed to the next steps.
