I had a torsion spring break on my garage door so I called around the Bloomington-Normal area for replacement prices. I forget the name of the lady that took my call but she was the most helpful of anyone I talked to from other places. They also had the quickest time frame to come replace the spring. I called on a Monday afternoon and they got me an appointment for 8 AM the next day. I received a call15-20 minutes before the tech arrived, like they said they would do. The technician, Rodney, was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He switched out the spring, replaced a missing bolt, greased everything, and communicated everything to me in under 30 minutes. The spring was an upgrade to my previous one and the price still beat the other places by $40. The garage door is running smoother than it has in the 6 years I've lived here. I had four company's give me an estimate on a new garage door. The first three rushed in, eye balled things, took a measurement for the opening, gave the estimate and off they went. DH Pace was different, much different. First off Kevin came to my house to talk to me to find out what I was looking for and then shared the options best suited to my needs. Very professional. He recommended replacing our 25 year old garage door and we agreed. He scheduled the work for the next morning. Graham, our installer, arrived on time. He was courteous and professional. The steel cable on my garage door broke and needed to be replaced. I scheduled an appointment online for the next day. The technician called when he was on the way to my house and it was withtin the two hour window promised. When he arrived he examined the door and we discussed the repair. During his examination he found that the cable on the other side of the door was almost rusted through also so he replaced both cables. The entire process took about a half hour. The technician was fast, efficient and very knowledgeable. The cost was very reasonable. I have used DH Pace in the past for garage door repairs and I will definitely continue to use them. read more

We had two garage door openers that quit working. They were Ryobi and not all garage door people work on that brand. When we called DH Pace they were able to come out the next day to service them. Unfortunately, one opener was fried so we needed to completely replace it. They were able to do it that day and even replaced the bottom seals on both garage doors as well. Rodney P. was wonderful in helping us to get everything done quickly and cleaned up after himself when finished. Four years ago I had a garage door opener installed by DH Pace. The service was perfect so when I needed to have it repaired due to wear and tear I had the pleasure of working with the same person who installed it in the first place, with the same great attitude he had then. He not only fixed the part that wore out, but did general up keep on the entire system that was installed. It works and sounds perfect... and, it sure beats not being able to get the door open! Needed a look at garage door as it was kicking on the way down. Jeff from DH Pace came out and in about 2 minutes knew what was wrong. Unfortunately, problem was fairly serious and eventually a new door will be needed but he also offered a solid fix that should be good for several more years. Great experience! Rodney and his coworker were awesome! Showed up on time and quickly diagnosed problem. Had materials with them and it was a quick fix and reasonably priced. Its an old door/opener and I appreciate that they didn't try to up-sell me. Then they went above and beyond and cleaned/oiled the chaines and openers. Called about some replacement panels for my old garage doors. None available. But after talking with the sales guy. I had him come out and look. It was very low cost to replace my 2 garage doors than to try to spruce them up. Service was excellent Rodney was out in 2 days. Took him 3 hours to remove and install my 2 garage doors.
