I was recently in the cute town of Lourmarin (in fact several times!) during my trip to Provence. Lourmarin is a lovely small town and easily accessed by car from Aix-en-Provence and on the way to the small town of Bonnieux. Parking in Lourmarin is right in town and easy to negotiate and to access shops and restaurants. In the town itself, there are multiple awesome clothing/accessory shops as well as restaurants, and other types of shops. Lourmarin is a delightful place to walk around. While in Lourmarin, I shopped for clothing, jewelry (bijoux) and other items. One shop that stood out to me was DGL at 2 Rue de Temple (look for the white awning and racks of clothing outside the shop). DGL is just to the right of Cafe Gaby as you face that restaurant. Inside this cozy shop are loads of great unique and stylish clothing and jewelry (bijoux) for those who are bohemian in spirit and taste. I found wonderful items to buy in this shop including two hand-painted linen tops and jewelry which completely appealed to my sense of style. The lovely and very helpful owner was great to chat with as I was making my selections for purchase. Let me tell you what this shop offers to female shoppers you likely won't find in the United States if that is where you are from. I am constantly searching for boutiques like DGL here in the US and those places are very hard to find. I've always loved to color outside the lines so this shop exactly helped me do that.
