I appreciated that there was a lot of communication and support leading up to shoot because I had never done anything like this before and was pretty apprehensive. Additionally, the actual shoot was phenomenal, and everyone I worked with was incredibly welcoming and put all of my nerves at ease. Amanda (the photography assistant) was the first person I encountered. She was so helpful and made sure I was comfortable. I also found it impressive how easily she anticipated the needs of my photographer, Jenny, throughout the shoot. They worked incredibly well together. My hair and makeup artist, Joie, was so fun and had great energy. It really was the best way to kick off the shoot, and I felt so good after she finished up with everything. Finally, Jenny was an incredible photographer. I was so worried about posing and my pictures looking too staged, but she really took the time to show each pose first (with very simple instructions to follow), which was very helpful. I never felt rushed, and she got some really amazing shots that I thought looked natural. As a whole, they all hyped me up and made me feel so confident and sexy. Truly a great experience. Even my reveal session was amazing from a customer lens. Cynthia showed me my pictures and was so patient while I tried to narrow them down. She gave helpful advice when asked, and I left feeling like I had a solid set of pictures picked out (though it was hard to narrow them down because there were so many great ones). I responded to an ad on Facebook for a discounted shoot, hoping to use the images as a gift for my…read morehusband. I spoke with an associate on the phone, she walked me through the process, told me pricing started at $950 and I wrongly assumed that much money would pay for digital images. After I paid a $200 non refundable deposit, I saw a price sheet that spelled out the specifics for keeping my images. Very expensive and very few digital images are included unless you spend thousands of dollars. I couldn't justify the cost of the experience for only keeping one print so I cancelled. If you're looking to do this only for the experience, I bet it would be amazing but I was hoping to keep the images as a gift.

I, on the other hand, would rather drop dead than get dressed down in front of a camera. However, it was our wedding after all and we have been together over 11 years so I thought he deserves something special. So, with a big grain of salt and a whole lot of champagne, I showed up to my appointment at the Line Hotel. I have been to the hotel before, but in general, if you have the chance to book a shoot at this location I really would recommend it. It gives you a whole separate swanky feel. I went up to the room and Lauren was up there with the hair and make up artists. In general it was an absolute vibe. The girls were so friendly and pumped to make me feel beautiful, even though I was incredibly nervous. They asked me what I wanted done with my hair, and I indicated that old Hollywood waves for a more pinup girl look was what I think my husband would want most. They absolutely smashed it. After the hair and make up artist left, it was just Lauren and I. Queue the panic? NOPE! While I am a more curvy girl, Laura instructed me to strike several poses that felt very silly but ended up coming out incredible! She somehow captures a romantic but edgy feel, and there's nothing quite like the lighting that she uses to accentuate the absolute best of us. Her positive attitude, words of affirmation, and general chill attitude made the whole thing feel like I was a movie star. She never pushed me to do any more or less than I wanted to, never made me feel rushed, and helped decide which lingerie pieces would look the best. She's definitely worth the price and I cannot tell you how important it is to ORDER PRINTS. I'm admittedly not someone who orders them for other family or couple shoots I've done, but something about the way she put together the looks made it seem like the art it truly is. I also want to compliment Lauren prompt email responses, willingness to explain costs, and work with me to ensure I got exactly the product I wanted. Not only that, I put her in a bit of a time crunch because of the wedding I timing for the prints. Not only did she send me the photos in a fraction of the time she told me it would take, she also put together the album in 24 hours. No corrections needed- she's an absolute pro. I highly recommend everyone go to her, regardless of their own body image issues, fears, or trepidation. She truly is an artist and I cannot tell you enough good things about her and the experience. When the big day came and I was able to surprise my now-husband, I promise his jaw dropped. My wife has talked to me about wanting to get wedding like photos or photos of us in general.   Both of us were not happy with our wedding photos back in 2014.  The service was bad. Nevertheless, I came across Lina's business and wanted to see what they have to offer. I found out there are two types of photography that can be done here.   The first styles of photography are Babies, Family, Pregnancy Special Events and Couples. These are Lina style of photos. If you want to get down with your bad self, Lina's partners make is Diana. Diana specializes in Bouoir Photos. What is that?  "Boudoir photography is a photographic style featuring intimate, sensual, romantic, and sometimes erotic images of its subjects in a photographic studio, bedroom or private dressing room environment, primarily intended for the private enjoyment of the subjects and their romantic partners." Now, whether or not Diana will take sexy photos of guys for their girlfriend(s) or Wife(Wives), I can say, but it never hurts to call her and ask. I know my wife and I might find it fun to do both styles of photography. For my 40th birthday I decided to ignore the doubts and just go for it and, as luck would have it, I came across Donna's work on Instagram.
