Had to remind them to do things like empty the trash, dust the blinds and my desk. After we made that clear they did a decent job. Crew was friendly and worked hard. The issue was consistency. I was told I would have them come every Friday from 1:30-2:30pm window. They then began to show up later and later each week. One week they called at 8am cancelling. I had family coming into town and told them not to worry about coming next week. They then had a crew show up an hour later to clean. My contact there was a guy named Michael. I texted him to update my credit card on file. No response. I messaged him again about a concern. No response. Last week the maids did not show and we called to see what the issue was. Was told they would arrive between 4:30-5. I was leaving for an event at 6pm and told them not to come and cancelled the service. I then got another call two hours later after we fired them and was told the maids would arrive around 6:30pm. I told them I had already fired them so why is someone dispatched. They had no idea about what was happening. The management is a mess. The service starts off great but you have to stay on top of them to keep things at a certain level. I do not recommend at all.

The house sparkled. It was a positive experience all around. We needed to get our house cleaned for company next week. I got bids from a couple of companies by sending them the list of what we wanted to have done and selected The Cleaning Authority, expecting the same quality of work. We wanted the bathrooms, the master bedroom, a guest room (which just needed dusting as it had been painted and carpeted recently), and the public spaces downstairs in the house cleaned. They did not have to do the windows, sills, blinds or the wood floor on the main floor. I emphasized that the kitchen was really important. I acknowledged that if the work wasn't done in four hours we could negotiate for more time, and said that was ok. What we got: two women who did not communicate in English, who wasted probably 45 minutes of time in the already cleaned guest room, didn't clean any room thoroughly (not even trying to clean the tubs or floors) before going to the next room, didn't even work on the kitchen until the last, and walked out without even trying to find me or my husband to see if we wanted them to go over the time limit to finish the job. I just happened to look out the window to see them packing up their equipment and went out to get them to finish the kitchen. When I called the next day to complain, the person I talked to wanted to come out to see what I was talking about, asked if I had taken any pictures, and offered to have someone else come out to clean. I replied that since we had company coming the NEXT week, we were already doing the cleaning not done, didn't have time to take pictures, and certainly didn't want her or anyone from the company to come to our house ever again. I strongly urge anyone looking for a cleaning company not to even consider this one. If someone does choose them, be sure to take pictures, have a translator available, accept a price for the job and not by the hour, and watch them like a hawk to see that they are actually working and really cleaning.

In…read moreSeptember 2024, their team damaged our 1-year-old undermount kitchen sink during their second cleaning. When the owner came to see the scratches the following week, he assured us, "We will get this taken care of." He offered a month of free cleaning, but I declined, stating I wanted the issue resolved before having them back. I was then directed to their manager, who filed an insurance claim. After spending 2+ hours on calls and submitting photos, everything went radio silent for two months. In January 2025, after multiple ignored emails, I called their insurance group, only to be told that the owner had suddenly denied the claim, making it my word against his. Frustrated, I called The Cleaning Authority's corporate office four separate times. Each time, I was told their "hands were tied" and that they could only send a message to the owner--who never once called me back. On my last attempt, corporate gave me the owner's direct line. I called four times, left two voicemails over the course of a week, and received zero response. So here we are. The owner was dishonest, damaged our property, wasted my time, and refused to take responsibility. Meanwhile, corporate has done nothing to hold their franchise accountable. We are still left with a scratched sink and no resolution. If anyone at The Cleaning Authority actually cares, you have multiple voicemails and call attempts spanning six months that you chose to ignore. Would still love to find a resolution, but based on this experience, I won't hold my breath.

I was told "it is not guaranteed and someone would call me the week before to confirm". I never got a call so I called them the day before and was told a crew would be here at 8:30am. So, I figured I did not get my requested time. On the day I wait, wait, wait. I finally called at 9:20 and asked where my crews was and was told they would not be here until noon. So frustrating!! The ladies did show up at noon and neither one spoke English. I had many things to show and communicate to them and had to use Google Translate - again, very frustrating. This was to do a deep clean in my home which required some unreachable shelves and was never told they would not be able to use a step ladder to reach the "high stuff". I had to readjust all shutters after they were cleaned and I had to reposition all of my decor as they were not put back in place. A company inspector (also did not speak English) showed up about 1.5 hours after they began and much of the house had not been cleaned so this was a complete joke and there is no way the company can verify the work was done to my satisfaction. It took them 4.5 hours to clean this house which was wayyyyy too long, therefore, very expensive.
