We drove from London to Yorkshire and met them at their registered company's address and they took us to a new build they were finishing. They left us alone with the owners and we were encouraged to ask the owners about their experiences with AML and view the virtually finished building site. We were happy with what we saw and heard from the owners. During the construction of the first fix of our new build during winter, the site was inspected regularly by our architect Perry Jones of Perrywell Developments Ltd. at our request before we released staged payments. At all times the architect was happy with the quality of the work and that they had followed the architect's plans. At every stage of the building regulations, the Buildings Inspector of St. Albans District Council signed off the work without the need for remedial work and eventually signed off the completion certificate. I also arranged for a family friend, Dr. Rainer Wieske, a registered and qualified architect from Germany (he is also a Gutachter a registered expert in his field.) to come and view the finished first fix. He stated that the quality of the work was good. Dr. Wieske has previously worked with the British architect Norman Foster (the one who did the Reichstag dome in Berlin). The combination of unanimous good verdicts from our commissioned architect, the Buildings Inspector and the German architect expert causes me to score AML Builders 5 stars a justifiable score. I know that many scores could be regarded as objective, but I believe the above facts demonstrate this score as subjective. I would have no problem whatsoever in using AML Builders for a first fix new build again.

MT builders put my mind at rest and Me and my husband couldn't be happier. Newly plastered walls and ceiling, electrics, full installation of a kitchen and to be fair, Wren sent the wrong part,-twice, but as soon as the right one was delivered, Brian came straight out to fit it. Professional and it was also the little things that meant a lot too. Things that weren't in the quote but he did, so our kitchen could look the best. Thanks MT builders. Then he was insulting us and refuses to carry out the snagging works blaming his workmate for everything!!!!!. My advice is to stay clear. I think you left the radio when you had another job and we had to get the floor screeded level as you didn't costing us a further £2000 and you accused the other workman of stealing it. We paid you £9000 for the kitchen fit 8 weeks early and I had to finish myself, and pay for damaged kitchen units which were not damaged on delivery. ££5000 for snagging but you refuse to come back and communicate. We paid £14000 plus much more for works not carried out. As for being I'll mannered, asking you to stop smoking in the house and leaving food on the floor where we live is not unreasonable, leaving the house unoccupied with doors and windows open is not good. You also accused your last customer in Campsall of several similar things when at our property. You got behind with your work through absence and tried to persuade us to change our plans to save you time and you still won't provide an invoice for your works. He is now phoning and texting me abuse on the phone !!!!!!
