My son has been with Dexter KinderCare since its grand opening. We are so happy to see how he grows and thrives with Kindercare from a little crawling baby to a running-around toddler. My first love with this center was when Ms. Natasha told me how she loves her job: "can you believe you get paid to play with lovely babies!". It's always difficult when a baby first joins daycare centers. The teachers there make the start so easy that my son only cried the first two days while I was afraid the process might take much longer than that. The center updates parents frequently on the activities with pictures via their app throughout the day. Everyday kids have a lot of fun with various indoor and outdoor activities. You can tell children are happy there by the smiles and interactions between children and teachers. The center's opening hour, 6:30 am - 6:30 pm, is also very helpful for a lot of working parents. During this special COVID-19 period, the center has special safety measures and make us feel comfortable to have our son there. Our daughter started at Dexter Kindercare shortly after they opened. We held our breaths as we were anxious about whether it'd be a good fit for her but our minds were quickly put at ease. Our daughter started loving going to daycare much thanks to the staff and the director. Our daughter's teachers were very attentive to her and did a great job communicating with us. We had to keep her home while the center was closed and she asked to go to daycare every day. We were nervous about putting her back but this KC has done an amazing job taking precautions to prevent COVID. We take her every day knowing that she will be well cared for and even loved. The new director Ms. Faith and the assistant director Ms. Elena have been amazing at communicating with us and are always friendly when we see them. I cannot say enough good things about Miss Tia and Miss Kalie, as well as the teaching assistants. They have taken the time to work with our daughter but also talk to us on a regular basis. It's hard choosing childcare for your children period let alone during a global pandemic. My husband and I vacillated over the decision to enroll our two sons in daycare. But as two working parents who were also working from home ourselves, it became clear that daycare was necessary. We researched tirelessly and ultimately chose Dexter KinderCare last month. In a short time it's clear we made the right choice. Not only are their safety and cleaning measures around COVID19 excellent, but they normalize my 4-year old wearing a mask so that neither of our sons are scared (they are 2 &4). My 4 year old son has attended Kindercare in Dexter MI since they opened their doors in July 2019. We were interested in transitioning out of an in-home daycare to a center with more of a curriculum and school structure but also still required full time care. We are very pleased with the care our son receives daily. The center staff and teachers provide updates, photos, and notes all day long through an easy to use app. They are constantly providing the kids with new activities and fun ways to learn. The center provides meals and snacks that allows our son to have more variety and nutrition than a packed lunch could offer. The center has always been presentable, clean, and very well managed.
