At this point, I very clearly and even sternly said I was uncomfortable and said I would prefer to not keep discussing this topic...and yet he kept insisting! I eventually asked if I may actually switch my representation to his business partner, and he actually had the gall to argue with my reasoning! I eventually just excused myself and left the office feeling very, very disturbed by the encounter. Having prepaid my legal fees (prior to meeting Mr. Swift!), when I complained to his assistant about how I believed that Mr. Swift was "freaking insane," she returned my deposit and said that their business is built on his reputation, and they couldn't risk having an unhappy client, so they were declining my business. So much for truth in advertising! Mr. Swift was one of the most unprofessional, delusional, and even potentially harmful people I've EVER met, much less have consulted or worked with.
