My favorite mall ever! Is this party because it's a mere 10 minute drive away from my house?…read moreProbably... but that being said I love the Northridge Fashion Center. I enjoy getting a drink occasionally from Agua Cabana on the second floor, and the perfect mall snack is an Açaí bowl from Bearies on the first floor. My favorite stores include - Pop Mart, Box Lunch, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Miniso, Hot Topic, Hollister, Old Navy, Journey's & Sophi's Cosmetics. It's a smaller mall but it's local & always a solid place for a hang out. There is also many on site restaurants that I enjoy such as Yard House, LongHorn Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen & Red Robins. There is also an Escapology located here outside the mall which is great as an interactive experience. The workers I've encountered here are typically very friendly & the mall is kept very clean.

They recently opened a Alo store, which is definitely my fav store to go to get my yoga leggings :)...btw it right across from the Cheesecake Factory if you want to check it out. Overall, this mall has all you need and now you can literally be here all day. Go catch a movie, eat, play, and much more. They are going to have a bowling alley coming soon as well called pinstripes I believe... now that will be epic! Not too far from my house. This will def be the Valley's South Coast Plaza with much more! Come check it out when you can!

Anchor tenants include SteinMart, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Sprouts, RiteAid, and Petco. There are lots of smaller stores for other needs. Unbelievably, there is only one available space. Seems rare, when many malls are struggling against the Amazon Effect. Need food on the run? You can pick between Freebirds World Burrito, Starbucks, Zankou Chicken, Presto Pasta, Pick Up Stix, and others. Jamba Juice is currently doing a build out for a new location. Since there's not a SteinMart closer, I stop by here from time to time. Our grandson will be going to high school nearby, so we'll be here more often in the future.

This space held so much promise when it opened up alongside the revitalized Topanga Mall. However,…read morehigh rent and low foot traffic has lead to high turnover on businesses and the closure of some of the tentpole businesses (r.i.p Lucille's BBQ). I feel like most people come here for Costco, and then maybe just walk around. There just isn't enough there to draw its own crowds. All of that is to say, I really wish this place had more of a draw. It's a beautiful space that is maintained very well. There's plenty of parking (though it is paid which is a shame) and it's a great location. I want this place to succeed and be a draw. But they just need to find a way to attract good businesses and give them rent that justifies keeping them around, growing a customer base that will come back and then spill in to the other businesses there. All the pieces to a great outdoor shopping center in the West Valley. they just need to figure out how to get them all to come together.
