Breakfast is typical German with bread, cheese, meat, fruit with the appreciated addition of make to order eggs. Very nice that it is walking distance to old town with all of the wonderful restaurants there however you should also give the Birkenhof restaurant a try. The cream of venison soup is delicious!

If I'm ever in the area again I wouldn't even try another hotel as I cant imagine a better experience anywhere else. The town was adorable, like being in a Hansel and Gretel novel. Enjoy a seafood centric restaurant by the river a tall glass of beer. walk around the town and it's beautiful quaint historic feel. Americans, pay close attention to local eating customs and times (even at the intl airport in Frankfurt) and do not expect anything to be open on Sunday so do your shopping on another day. It's difficult to find a place that takes Amex so bring euros or a Visa.
