A gorgeous lake outside of Füssen with views of the Neuschwanstein castle and the surrounding…read moremountains. It's a reasonably small lake and you can rent boats, paddle boards and small motor boats to enjoy the lake. There is also some beach areas on the lake and plenty of cafes and restaurants around if you want a meal overlooking the lake. Much quieter and nicer but, the water is not so crystal clear as some of the other lakes in the area. Lots of vacation homes around and tons of people and families out by the water soaking in the sun. It seems like a like where lot of locals holiday. A really nice find in the Allgäu.
