The drive-through does a really good job washing your car very thorough. They have all the good detailed sauces out there too so by the time you leave your car looks brand new. Ehhhh, something changed with the name. Upon entering the car wash, a gentleman pre-sprays the exterior of your vehicle...but only the front and drivers side of the vehicle with soap. I guess the passenger side doesn't need the pre-spray! After exiting, the hood, glass and roof still have debris. The vacuum is still free. read more

Probably one of the best car washes I have been. The staff was great and they have everything you need to clean your car including window cleaner, all purpose cleaner and and air house for those small crevices. I noticed some glass in the spot next to us and informed the staff member there. He was cleaning it up immediately. We will use this place whenever we are in town! read more

Zip's recently took over this location, so this has no reflection on Dectrick's. Detrick's was awesome, and on top of every aspect of their business. The days Zip's took over, this place went in the crapper. Less staff means less service. Detrick's always had 2 attendants at the tunnel, Zip's has 1. I pay for bug prep, but since Zip's took over they do not use the brush or treat the front of my vehicle. There were always plenty of towels with Detrick's, and now it is rare to find a towel with Zip's. Glass and general purpose cleaners always seem to be empty as well. At this rate, I'm going back to Detrick's as soon as their now 501 location is built and open read more

Vacuums weren't working and I politely asked the manager in the white polo for a refund and he said the vacuums are free, what do you expect in Myrtle beach. Usually you go to clean your car and clean the whole thing, not just the inside. Car wash damaged my hood and left a long drag mark that broke the clear coat. Noticed the damage as soon as I got home and immediately drove back and pointed it out to the "owner" who was disrespectful and treats you like garbage when you question his almighty awesomeness. After listening to him brag about his personal vehicle going thru the wash thousands of times with no damage and how he's an automotive "expert" I couldn't handle his crappy attitude anymore. As a business owner I would NEVER treat a client with half of the disrespect my wife and I received. First time here from out of state have Jake and I go through car washes many times in his life and this time I was covered in soap and water. I tried to put my sunroof up the visor part to reduce the water and I felt completely covered in soap and water very upset I left for a few minutes and then came back and when I did I asked the manager if he could help with possibly getting my money back since I did not get to clean the car. He said not my fault the sunroof had a leak in it and said did you get out inspected before and after , no. My review is not about the actual wash which is fine. It is the company and its business practices. I had a monthly membership and was pleased with the service. A year ago I cancelled because I was moving out of the area. 11 Months later I notice a $24.99 charge by them on my credit card. I placed 5 phone calls to them. Twice I spoke with an employee that said I would be called back. The other 3 times I left messages. I also sent an email. After being blown off for a week, I drove 34 miles RT and found a manager. I provided him with statements and verified in their system that I had not been there for almost a year. He was nice and said he would get back to me in a few days. A week later I called and the employee I spoke with said yes, I see your paperwork here, it's waiting for the owner to review. Another week goes by and I drove another 34 miles to see the same manager as before. He told me it is on the owners desk but he is on vacation. I told him I now want compensation for my time and mileage. He said he would pass that on to the owner. I gave this company every chance in the world to make this right. Now Im here and on to BBB, Consumer Affairs, the business licensing department and anywhere else I can complain. Do yourself a favor and don't give this company your credit card information! Even better, go to another company that won't screw you over. read more

The people working at the North Myrtle Beach car wash a very rude. Was in there recently to vacuum and clean my car. Which I've probably done 20 times over the spring and summer. One of the workers came up to me and told me in a very condescending tone that you're supposed to wash first then vacuum. Then I spoke with a person who identified himself as the owner. Told him about my concerns with the first gentleman I spoke to him. The owner told me that he didn't like my attitude. Said that I come in there all the time use the vacuums but I don't wash. Which is not true. He even said that I drop ketchup packets on the ground so that people can step on them. He ended up kicking me off the property. I had been there many times in the past and the people were great. I still do not understand why I was treated in this matter and I do not plan to return. read more

They offer better deals and specials than anyone else, a variety of monthly memberships, a more than generous soap ratio, and free vacuums!
