This particular store is my favourite of them all, with a large selection of english books, sorted into different categories. It's 3 stories high, with a coffee shop on the middle floor (do go and check out my review of it before you decide to go!). The people working there are extremely helpful and if you're in the wrong section for what you're looking for, they'll guide you to the right section so you can get help! Really my only issue with the store is that it feels like the stairs are about to break. They're made of glass and seem really wobbly, but... you know... no one has fallen through yet! ;) They very often have sales, so if you're looking for a good price, this is where I'd go!

It is eclectic store and good to spend some relaxing time in. They have unusual ethnic items that I am not sure where they were from but really nice and tempting. I saw lots of cool. I can tell you that this place is really unique, more like a coffee shop inside a library. This place was buzzing when we came first lunch. You have to find a seat, then go downstairs to the counter to order. Once you've ordered, you get your drinks on a tray with a number. You tell the counter person where about you are seated and they will come find you with your food. Since this was supposed to be a light lunch, we just ordered a chicken sandwich and a tomato soup. The chicken sandwich was a piece of marinated chicken breast, lightly grilled, served on a bed of lettuce with slices of tomato in a crunchy roll, with a side of roasted potatoes. As good as any grilled chicken sandwich can get. The tomato soup can best described as " tomato-y", soupy consistency and just right for a cold Copenhagen winter day. This place is popular, it can get loud inside and you may have to wait a bit for seats, but come and hang out.

A nice mix of both Nordic and more international authors. You can also buy a cup of coffee and chill out by the window. The owner/shop keeper is a very nice woman with excellent book tips, seems like she's read them all. Everything she has recommended for me has so far been very interesting and to my liking, the favorite being a selection of horror short stories. This is actually a very good place to get interesting short story collections, if you are like me and like to sometimes finish a story over dinner rather than read the same book for a longer period. Thiemers magasin is the perfect place to get your next read, some tips about literature that might suit your taste or just to browse for gifts. The prices seem fair. They also host readings and small literature related events.

I can't say much about the Danish section, since I only read on English, but there is definitely a wide range of selections in the English section - YA books, fantasy, sic-fi, fiction, non-fiction. You name it, they have it and on the off-chance they don't, they'll immediately offer to order it home for you, and you won't have to pay for shipping or anything. Usually an English book is 100kr. Danish books, according to my mum, are averagely priced for Danish books. Amazing amazing place that practically feels like home!

Or you can order it. But it has no real personality and takes no stand on what books to have and which ones to just get rid of. Yes. I am a snob. I saw a ton of beer, including Carlsberg, next to the Coke products. I have never seen anything like that before. It was almost 9 am. I didn't feel like beer. I had some willpower. I saw a chocolate croissant. I wanted it, but the chicken skewer was calling my name. I needed some protein to keep me sustained for a bit. I was pleased that the man behind the counter spoke English. I asked for a chicken skewer and proceeded to pay for my goodies using my credit card. He advised that I could either pay in Canadian funds (the machine defaults to the currency of whatever country your credit card is from) or in Danish funds. I went with Canadian, entered my PIN, and paid for my purchases. The Coke Lite hit the spot. I was thirsty. The chicken skewer was fine. It was seasoned nicely, but the chicken seemed a bit rubbery at times. Still, I was glad that it erased my hunger pangs. As expected, buying stuff at the airport is expensive. My two purchases were just under $10 CAD. For the convenience of going in and coming out two minutes later with what I needed, I have no complaints. (301)

Without any adapter, we would be unable to charge any of our equipment like cell phones and tablets. So, we stopped by WH Smith at the Copenhagen, Denmark Airport. They had a few adapter choices with different prices. I purchased the cheapest one which still costed about $15 U.S. Dollars. Well, it broke after one use!!! Purchase at your own risk. Maybe, they would exchange or give a refund. Won't know because I probably won't be back at this location for a long time. :(
