The buns were light and fluffy and piping hot, the scallion pancakes were the perfect flaky texture and strong scallion flavor, and the pork rice was so flavorful....we devoured all our food before we even thought about taking photos. A gem in town. By far the best customer service , the owners were taking orders and the gentlemen took the time to explain everything on the menu. Hubs and I stayed in Cheyenne for a night and decided to try Destination Taiwan out of a few options. I was honestly a tiny bit skeptical of how the quality and taste would be, but they did not disappoint...and, in fact, they went above and beyond! We basically ordered like half their menu and they threw in some freebies, which I was not expecting at all, so we tried almost all their offerings. The dish that stands out the most is their scallion chicken noodle. The photo on their site doesn't look like much, but once you mix it all up with the sauce, it's like a flavor explosion in your mouth! Don't pass up on this one. The other aspect I enjoyed are their buns...they were SOO fluffy and soft. They use a different types of dough that compliment each filling, which I haven't seen before, so they are all definitely unique and delicious! We also enjoyed their pancakes/tortas! Other than their delicious food, the owners are super sweet and seem genuinely excited about sharing the wonderful flavors of their culture. Exceeded my expectations! I've only ever had egg custards at a buffet back in VA and the frozen ones, and these are perfect! The tea eggs were delicious, filling, and easy to peel the shell off. My husband had the BBQ and liked it and my daughter and I shared the purple taro bun. She's a really picky eater, but she likes it! We pass by this little building all the time on Dell Range and we wanted to grab some small snacks for the road. My husband ordered at the little window of the small building and we waited in our car. The employee brought our items to us and was very nice. They even gave 2 free items! We ordered tea and a few different buns fun lunch and it was under $30. Everything was amazing! We got Chinese BBQ, pork and leek, Chinese spinach, egg custard, taro, and black sesame. This little shack is a gem! They're putting out hardcore, authentic Taiwanese dishes that you won't find anywhere else! And the food is so obviously made with care, love, and pride. The service is possibly the best in town, as well. I am always thanked for being a return customer and served with the utmost courtesy and respect. I'm hooked! This is probably one of the cutest stops in Cheyenne! They are always so helpful and quick to make orders. This is not the typical Thai food you would get with pad Thai or curry but Taiwanese food! The food here is more like local cuisine that people need to try! Whenever we drive through we always make a point to stop here! With the current issues with sit down this place is perfect as there is only take away! We usually grab a couple buns to split. This time we got cabbage, pork and leek, and Chinese spinach. My favorite is the Chinese spinach with a little bit of tangy veggie taste. The bun itself is similar to a bao bun texture. The cooks through in a black sesame bun for free so got to try a sweet one as well! It was the perfect dessert bun with a nutty sweet taste! Also got the scallion noodles and pork braised rice! The scallion noodles come with chicken and a tasty sauce. And the pork braised rice was very garlicky and delicious. The only thing missing was hot sauce! The torte are similar to thin onion cakes. The scallion is the best but the basil is a refreshing change. Owners also threw in a dessert healthy porridge for both of us to try! Price is amazing for two people to try all this food was $30 bucks and we took a whole day to eat everything with the 3 free extras thrown in! Tea eggs are not to be missed as well! They are smoky and pack tons of flavor! The teas options are all fantastic and unique flavors you won't be able to get at most Thai places. We tried the fresh milk taro and it was smooth and tasty. Quick craving fix! What we got: Originally went here for a classic milk tea w/ boba. Unfortunately, they were sold out of a few things on the menu. We ended up sharing their Passion Lychee - a bit sweeter than we'd like, but very flavorful. We also got two of each steam bun. Wow,, what a blessing it was to find this cute little yummy gem in Cheyenne, WY. I was hungry and craving for boba tea on the way to Denver. And Thanks to Yelp, I found this wonderful establishment. We're so thrilled theyserved a wonderful boba and then some. We tried almost all their steamed bao, All were delicious and so soft. We also tried their green onion torta which was flaky delish . And above all, their customer service is above and beyond. The sweetest owner we have ever encountered . They gave us free tea eggs and sweet potato bao which were absolutely delicious. This place is now a MUST-STOP on our road trips. Truly so so delicious. We got the chive and then the cinnamon pancakes, which were divine and then also the egg and taro sweet buns and then the pork and the bbq pork buns. I would recommend all of them. This place is the real deal! Best boba I've had in a while, including my recent trip to Thailand. The braised pork fried rice is over the top brimming with umami, and the pork and leak dumpling was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The folks running Destination Taiwan couldn't be kinder or more authentic. Please Cheyenne, we have to spread the word to support amazing businesses like this. I seriously feel #blessed by that dumpling and fried rice they just served me. Haha. You have to come here!! The food (and I mean ALL the food) was delicious. What an absolute delight to find this gem on our road trip, and just a few minutes off the highway too. So worth the detour :) We were lucky and they had a chicken and rice special, which tasty and perfectly seasoned. The chicken noodles were also perfectly delicious, and my kids devoured them. All the steamed buns were really tasty, sweet and savoury (and yes, we tried them all!), my highlight was the BBQ pork. The scallion torta was an authentic savoury pancake, the 'pastry' like a roti pratha, light, a little crunchy, a little chewy, all delicious. And if bubble tea is your thing, these were great as well. They're sweet, and the tapioca and lychee jelly pearls we had were perfectly chewy. Overall this place is a true asian food gem, and I'm sad they're so far away from where we live, because this will be a meal we'll remember and lament that it will be the only time we get to eat here!! read more

I am posting this from the parking lot as I cannot wait to tell you how incredibly good this place is. Our steamed buns didn't last long enough for photos, but I would consider that a compliment. Everything we had was delicious, from the savory (Chinese bbq, pork and leek, Chinese spinach) to the sweet (black sesame, taro).
