This was the most psychotic, obsessive, harassing customer service I have ever experienced. They went out to my rental to swap out the door knob. I told them I would send payment later that day as I was in another city with my son seeing a pulmonology specialist. I told them I would pay that evening around 9 o'clock after I get my kids to bed I see that I have several missed calls and threatening text messages from the technician saying if I don't pay he's going to go remove my door knob. I did attempt to pay and USAA sent a text thinking it was fraud. I responded to the texting saying it was not fraud. USAA confirmed there's nothing more for me to do. If my house is broken into or the door knobs go missing I will 100% be going after this company. avoid them at all cost. They were unprofessional and mentally unstable. read more

We are a Locksmith company who contacted Destin Locksmithing for an emergency call at a large grocery store chain that we service. We were highly overcharged for services rendered. Will NEVER use them again. We use a lot of locksmiths across the southeast for our jobs. These guys are crooks! Paperwork was not filled out correctly, pricing is robbery. I do not recommend this company because it's bad business, no ethics. They screwed me over on a lock for my pool that wouldn't work for my gate, it was returned in September 2024, I was promised the refund in 30 days, after that passed then I was promised 7-10 business days, that passed then I was told 2-4 days I would see the refund. These guys are my new hero's on 30-A. Day after Memorial Day weekend and ever locksmith along Gulf of Mexico was covered up and under. Door knob jammed up to the point we could not get out of the condo. Called Destin Locksmithing and left a message. Thirty minutes later they called me back saying they were 20 minutes away. Showed up on time and removed internal corrosion then put working parts back into my fancy pick proof door knob. Working like brand new. Polite and friendly service. Will do business again. They will quote you a price thats three times more than it should be. What should of been a 268.00 deal turned into a 898.00 charge...not to mention that they charges almost 500.00 for a small key box. When I tried to cancel the service not only was the receptionist rude, but I never got a returned call confirming that the service was canceled. Charged $155 to unlock vehicle during regular hours and not an emergency. Took them 1 min so it wasn't a hard unlock. I would advise to use someone else more affordable. Filed with insurance company and agent said normal price is $55-85 for a lockout. read more

NOT 24/7 Lost my car keys while on vacation. Googled Locksmiths and called Destin Locksmithing based on the reviews that I saw and the fact they claimed they were 24/7 service. I called the # on their website. A lady answered the phone and told me someone would contact me. I gave her all my info. No call from anyone. I called back, she told me they would be there that night or the next morning. I asked for a eta, she could not provide one. No one answered the phone the next day after I never heard back. I called another locksmith, they answered the phone and told me they would be there in 35 mins, same price. They showed up and made me a new key right on time. I will give them a 5-star review. I brought in a key to get cut for my Honda since the original fob broke. After about an hour, we are told the key won't work because the fob is too fat. This is after he filed it down some. He then proceeded to offer one of their keys that's "guaranteed" to work. But was going to charge us for the key and two cuts, one of which doesn't work. We decided against spending more money when they couldn't get it right the first time. We were charged for a key cut that doesn't work, mainly because it wasn't the right cut.
