They have a really neat kids section with a fun jungle themed sitting area for the kids with stuffed jungle animals to sit on and really neat murals on the wall. I like this library a lot because it has the technology to easily do research and browse through the electronic catalogs, but yet still has the old school library feel to it. The staff has always been friendly and extremely knowledgeable when you have a question. The drop off is a little hard to fin at first, I wish it had a big red sign or arrow pointing to it, it can easily be missed!

Inside, floor to ceiling windows look out onto a little lake--what an inviting place to curl up with a book! Staff is also topnotch. They're very friendly and helpful, and many know me by name. I'm always sad when the city rotates the librarians to other outposts, because it's like losing a friend. Negatives? The heat/ac can be really wonky. I hate to see the staff shivering or sweating. We were near the location of the book store for the seminar ..... I arrived a little early and decided to do some research on the University. It seems that they have a turn over rate for some of their professors. It's located on the Southwest side of Dallas. It is a great alternative if you are looking to pay a little less in price and can make the drive or live on the area. Great place to attend to get your core courses out of the way. It is a smaller campus but it gets you started if you are new to college. They have a variety programs to choose from and it seems most are transferable....
