I had gained about 12 lb due to a knee injury. I have been unable to run in about 3 months . Since my knee is not fully recovered I thought the CoolSculpting would be a great help to get rid of the additional pounds on my belly area. I originally try to book an appointment on Groupon that I saw online . The woman I spoke to at Skin lab, her name was Sue, advised me to just come in and not go through the Groupon . That should have been my first clue . The treatment was very short and was followed up by an additional treatment that I did not request. She told me I would need several treatments at $200 a piece and to come in the next week. To get a good results I did follow up a week and a half later with a second treatment. Now spending $400 in total. The second treatment was also followed by same secondary procedure that I did not request. The second treatment also did not go through Groupon again. I waited a month and a half to two months to see if there would be any results and I saw absolutely no results at all and believe me I wanted to see results. I started calling the woman Named Sue to express my disappointment. She told me in no uncertain terms that there were no results guaranteed and that it was because of my age and I had no results and it's my own fault. Could you imagine? I am again 57 years old and I have worked in the beauty industry for about 20 years now. On a bad day I look 47. Her reaction to my displeasure is blatantly the most unprofessional unethical arrogant display I have ever heard. On my second visit she had informed me that her boss simply produces and manufactures the equipment and he's trying to sell them to spas in the local area. The health department needs to go and close this facility down are there on ethical practices. And no Spa should ever buy any equipment from this manufacturer because his equipment does not work. I had the surgery, after the surgery I realized that I was one of the few people to get what is called a dog's ear, which is a lump of skin at the bottom of the incision. I went to the office multiple times for steroid injections. I was told to wait a few years to see if it would flatten out. It did not. I just left from his office after a consultation with him, he is going to fix the dogs ear himself. He was very polite and explained a lot of things about how the procedure was preformed that the other doctor who had done the surgery did not. I am looking forward to seeing the progress :)

I would trade my discomfort for a visible scar running across my face. Please learn from my mistake, and let me say it is better to feel good than to look good.
