We went to several souvenir shops in Helsinki during our time in Finland looking for Christmas ornaments in July and this shop was probably the highest quality with the best value and selection outside of perhaps Annie's Gift Shop (Annensoppi). The service was hands off but friendly and I was glad to find a few pieces for my mother for Christmas. All in all, if you want some wooden holiday ornaments, especially off season, I would absolutely stop in here first.

What this place specializes in are vintage toys and especially dollhouses. Handmade, old fashion toys that don't require batteries to operate. Beautiful dollhouses and lots of miniatures to fill them with. It's a big store, so take your time to wonder around at the marvels, bringing you back to simpler time and gentler childhood.

The sheer amount of children's "stuff" packed into a shop the size of a good walk-in closet is amazing. They carry a very generous line of Skip Hop items from backpacks to bedding to playthings, oh my! Brands like Småfolk and Mini Rodini dominate the packed racks of clothing, in infant to children's sizes. Seasonally speaking they were a bit light on the rain and foul weather gear but there was a decent selection of Autumn hats and winter gloves. I like the variety of sale items - they're not just seasonal. It appears that they simply have random specials. Got a couple of cute Småfolk Autumn caps for 10e each, reduced from 20 after a bit of digging around. This is a great shop - I don't know that I'd travel all the way from Eira to Arabianranta just to go to the shop but it's a really great addition to this shopping center and my infant son's most fashionable friends from that area are all outfitted at Eblok. From this place you can sell your video games, cards, consoles, etc and get some money from them. You can also buy new games, used games, trade games and also buy your own gaming consoles. The staff was super friendly and there is a nice welcoming feeling in it when you get in. I highly recommend it !

It's an overall mini market, located in the heart of Tikkurila. i love this store because prices are great, and the selection of goods is plentiful. Every time I visit Tikkurila, one way or the other, I find myself shopping at Tokmanni. Store is clean and the employees there are always helpful.

This store entirely consists of Moomin merch for those who are Moomin fans. While not up to the level of the Sanrio stores in Japan, most of the merch was cute but leaned a bit too heavily on the "must also be useful" side - think cups (so many cups), plates, wallets, bags, and coasters. All in all, if you're a fan you should definitely drop in, but there's also a location in the Helsinki airport that is slightly nicer in my opinion, so I don't know there's a need to visit this shop unless you're already in the area.

There were even some stuff for sale as well! My friend got this really cute cutting board for about 13 euros which I thought was rather decent. I ended up buying this cute Moomin charm for 4 Euros since I love enamel charms! They have a stamp rally where if you take their stamp card and visit another Moomin Shop you can get something. I actually visited the Esplanade one a few days ago which is too bad since I would have been able to get whatever their gift was!
