I coached the Mathcounts team and came here for the Central Iowa competition. This campus is better than Montco where I came from near Philly. All intersections are labelled nicely. The competition was in the new FFA building which was really nice. The auditorium was huge and had a small stage for the countdown round. Upstairs, there was a student lounge that our school took over from the college kids. Ha, ha, ha... Well, it was nice place to have our competition and probably a pretty nice place to take classes too. read more

I never attended class here, but I drive by often and have been on campus once for a job fair. The campus is very very nice and different than I expected, it is also bigger than I expected. There is definitely the college campus feeling when you are on the beautiful campus. The students here appear friendly and didn't see anything concerning throughout my short visit here. read more

Duplicate review: This is a great college especially for your money! They have great quality instructors on a large campus and many different programs if study to choose. Especially some of your more unique programs. College credits transfer to most other colleges and you can transfer credits in from other colleges. Buildings are easy to find. Some could be updated but it's not a big deal especially with tuition being so reasonable. read more

Although I struggled with some faculty (you will have that everywhere), DMACC was the greatest choice I made. Now, I am a senior at a private university and I am so happy I chose a community college to get my associates degree. It has saved me a lot of money! DMACC gave me an environment that felt like a university. The activities were so much fun! The majority of the faculty are amazing. They have this thing called innovation week, where they have successful people come in and lecture. The year I was there I got to see Daymond John from Shark Tank. My brother got to see Steve Wozniak (co-founder of Apple). I can't stress enough how great DMACC is. When I compare the experiences I got to have at DMACC and the money I saved to friends who went to a 4-year, I would definitely say DMACC was a great decision. I have been to almost all the campuses and I would have to say West was my favorite. read more
